| indoor and outdoor are the two activity spaces in kindergartens,and compared with no less than 2 hours’ outdoor activities each day,the indoor activities occupies about 80% of the time in kindergartens.See from the current situation of urban hardware environment construction and big data era,the infants are lack of opportunities to participate in the activities in animated natural environment that without roofs,walls and fixed seats,and lack the opportunities to be fully interact with natural materials.The research of infants’ use of natural materials is the content that needs more attention in related research of kindergartens.In order to explore the categories and characteristics of the natural materials that preferred by the infants in outdoors,comb the types and features of the operation behaviors of outdoor natural materials and propose professional requirements and suggestions of teachers,this research mainly adopts the method of observation,and by observation of the behaviors of automatic operation of natural materials in outdoors as well as the behavior of conducting natural materials in outdoor activities under the organization of teachers respectively regarding to the 120 random sampling infants that selected from 8 classes of three age groups in the kindergarten,and supplemented by interviews of 33 teachers in the kindergarten as well as 15 random sampling infants of the top class.After a year of research,it comes to the following conclusions.First,the infants like activities to operate natural materials in outdoors,and the main natural materials are:Plant leaves and branches;sand,stone,water,and mud;animals like small insects,and these natural materials are easy to obtain flexible,wonderful and strange,easy to operate and some even have voices etc.Different ages of infant will have different interests in the natural materials in different areas and different kinds of activities.Second,according to the six standards of behavior source,form of actions,operation targets,operation materials,areas of operation activities,two opposite status,main participants,it conduct the comb of the operation behaviors of 29 unique but mutual cross and inclusion operation behaviors,such as intimate operation,explore operation and creative operation etc.The operation behaviors of the infants have the characteristics of Tentative,self-directed,exploratory,differential,short-term,emotive,a small amount of destructive and potentially dangerous.Third,the operation behaviors of outdoor natural material will enrich the infants’ direct knowledge and experience,promote their exploration,and cultivate their good study qualities and personalities which is benefit for their physical and psychological development.Based on this,it proposed the following teaching suggestions.First,learn to identify and control the outdoor environmental hazards,and set up safety operation of outdoor activities.Second,expand the activity space that touched by the infants with the outdoor natural materials.Third,explore the teaching values of the natural materials,and set up the course resource database of the natural materials.Fourth,establish related courses to support the infants to develop happily by improving their observation,identification and response abilities through training and discussion. |
