Physical education(PE)class is a form of organization.Informal organization is prevalent in student groups of PE class,and has significant impact on enhancing students' sports knowledge and skills,improving students' physical quality and developing students' personality.This study is based on the concept of "people-oriented" education,conducts empirical study about the effect of informal organization function of student groups on PE class teaching management and provides theoretical reference for the informal organization phenomenon in PE classroom.Research Method:(1)By collecting and organizing relevant theories on informal organization,education and educational psychology,we lay foundation for the follow-up study.(2)Based on the actual situation of college PE class,we put forward the hypothesis about the informal organization function of college PE class.(3)Based on the previous research on the informal organization function questionnaire,combined with the actual situation of PE class,we compose the empirical research questionnaire of the informal organization function of college physical education classroom.(4)An in situ questionnaire survey is conducted by extracting 100 students in PE class from North University of China,Shanxi University and Shanxi University of Finance and Economics respectively.(5)The proposed PE class informal organization functional hypothesis is tested by collecting and analyzing the questionnaire data.Research Results:(1)Hypothesis based on organizational communication function is supported by the questionnaire data(mean = 3.54).It shows that the informal organization in the PE class has the function of promoting communication in the class.(2)The hypothesis based on organizational control function is supported by the questionnaire data(mean = 3.12).It shows that the informal organization in the PE class can effectively restrain the behavior of the internal members,that is,the informal organization of PE class has the positive effect on the control of the formal organization.(3)After flipping the original data,organizational conflict function hypothesis subscale data is obtained and the mean value is 2.55.It shows that the hypothesis that there is antagonism when informal and formal organizations in PE class are in conflict is not supported by data.(4)Hypothesis based on the organizational cohesion function is unanimous supported by questionnaire data(mean = 4.06).It shows that the informal organization of PE class can meet the emotional needs of the members and enhance the organization cohesion.(5)Hypothesis based on organizational performance is generally supported by the questionnaire data(mean = 3.89),it can be seen from the questionnaire subscale that the informal organization in PE class can promote the performance of PE class organization.(6)The relationships between hypotheses about functions of the informal organization in PE class are consistent with that of the previous description.The Pearson Correlation of the organizational communication function compared with the organizational cohesion hypothesis and performance hypothesis are 0.678 and 0.7121 respectively,the correlation degree is high,indicate that the communication function of the informal organization in PE class does not only help to make up for the shortcomings of formal communication,but also help the formal organization to improve cohesion and performance.The Pearson Correlation between organizational conflict function hypothesis and organizational control function hypothesis is0.731,the correlation degree is high,indicates that organizational control and organizational conflict are checks and balances and conflict is the result of improper control.Conclusion:(1)Informal organization has the function of promoting the communication in PE class.(2)Informal organization in PE class has the function of controlling the internal members.(3)Informal organization in PE class can promote the organization of cohesion when the objective of informal organization is consistent with that of class.(4)Informal organizations in PE class can promote the performance of PE class organizations.(5)The informal group teaching methods can be widely promted in PE class to make up the lack of traditional teaching methods and promote the achievement of teaching objectives.
