Senior high school students are one of the most basic forces of sports,and are the best breakthrough to carry out and promote sports.At present,more and more heavily pressure is born by senior high school student who particularly need a healthy body and a positive mind,and sport activities can relieve this pressure and to enhance the physical and mental development of students to a large extent.Physical education is the main way for high school students to participate in sports activities and to implement the guiding ideology of "health first" in school education.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of physical education to ease the pressure of students and to lay a solid foundation in promoting the comprehensive development of students.This paper,adopting literature study,questionnaire survey,field observation and other research methods,mainly investigates the situation of the No.1 Middle School of Yang Town in the aspects of physical education(including students,teaching objectives,curriculum,teaching strategies,feedback,teaching environment and teachers),exploring the advantages and disadvantages of sports education and summarizing the successful experiences in order to promote its improvement of physical education quality and to provide reference for other schools.The following conclusions of physical education situation in Yangzhen No.1 Middle School are drawn based on this study:1.On the basis of the new curriculum standards,the physical education teaching objectives is clear in academic year and semester;the unit and period physical education teaching objectives of some teacher are not complete,and teaching objectives are not specific.2.Adequate equipment can meet the needs of physical education and training in normal weather;three grades are able to implement two classes of physical education weekly,but the lack of theoretical courses,inadequate knowledge of health.The courses offered are mainly focused on traditional projects,and the breadth of project is not enough,which cannot satisfy the needs of students.3.Teaching methods still adopt traditional teacher-led methods,and the dominant position of students cannot be fully reflected in the teaching process,so teachers are constantly exploring the methods of new-model physical education teaching.In organizational form,group teaching,individual counseling and company teaching are adopted together under the larger context of single-sex classes.4.In the aspect of learning evaluation,satisfaction of the students' physical education and health evaluation is very high,most of the teachers' evaluation when considering the students' physical fitness,knowledge and skills,learning attitude and other factors,toachieve fairness and justice.In the evaluation method,teachers pay special attention to students' progress;with regard to the evaluation subject,most teacher ignore the dominant role of students;in the aspect of teaching evaluation,anonymous way is adopted when students evaluate teachers.5.Pay attention to sports teachers team echelon construction Yangzhen,the number of PE teachers can meet the daily needs of teaching,but the 35% teachers' workload;the age structure of teachers is reasonable,which can fully reflect the personal advantages;the educational background and academic title of teacher is reasonable,helpful to carry out physical education;the research ability of teachers is strong and the status of published paper is optimistic;the imbalance between male and female teachers is not conducive to the development of some soft items and the physical education for girls;teachers' professional specialty mainly focus on the traditional sports activities such as track and field ball,which is not conducive to the development of optional teaching and to meet the needs of students in emerging projects.
