The motor skills test for physical education majors is a test for selecting physical education professionals in colleges and universities,which is a part of the college entrance examinations.Students majoring in physical education is the main force of the future teachers in physical education,the healthy development of the overall quality and professional ability of PE teachers relates to the development of school sports and physical education,and would affect students' physical health and all-round development.According to reports,the quality of physical education students in recent years enrolled in colleges and universities is generally low,and some of them even can not to accomplish the task of physical education in primary and secondary schools after graduation.Some people think it is because colleges and universities have no special requirements on the motor skills when physical education candidates be admitted in colleges,that the main reason why some graduates can not meet the requirements of physical education teachers.Therefore,in order to find out the problems in physical education motor skills test,it is necessary to study in the current situation of physical education motor skills test,and to provide a reference for revising the examination methods of motor skills.By using the methods of literature review,questionnaire survey,field survey,interview survey and mathematical statistics,this paper makes an investigation on the present situation of physical education motor skills test in physical education major.The conclusions of the study are as follows:(1)The history of motor skills test of physical education major in China can be divided into the exploratory stage,tortuous development stage,self examination content and standard for evaluation stage,the unified national examination content and standard for evaluation stage,and the stage of making choice based on the unified standard.(2)There are 4 models in the motor skills test of college entrance examination of physical education in China,namely "physical quality" model,"physical quality and special skills" model,"physical quality and comprehensive skills" model,"physical quality and special skills and auxiliary skill" model,and the last model is the best.(3)The physical fitness test content isn't comprehensive,and some of the test content has a great risk to the health of students;Special skills test is not popular and the content of special skills test has great differences between provinces.(4)There are significant differences in scores of total scores,physical performances scores and special skill scores between provinces.The percentage of physical performances scores and special skill scores is 60 and 40 in most provinces.Some scoring standards need to be further improved.(5)The test organization forms of physical education major motor skills can be divided into "one test center,test in batches","one test center,unified test","several test center,test in batches","several test center,unified test ",and the form of "one test center,test in batches" is the most common form.The test organization forms of Hubei province and Zhejiang province need to be further improved in the future.(6)The test time of physical education major motor skills is different from one province to another,some provinces complete the test before the Spring Festival and some provinces after the college entrance examination test,but most provinces choice to arrange the test between March and May.The time for complete the test is different as well,some provinces need one day to complete the test and some provinces need six days.According to the survey,most of the students said that the most appropriate time to complete the test is 2 days.(7)The testing process and management of examination venues in some provinces is confused.To replacement of referees frequently,put the endurance events in the middle of the test,forbid candidates to wear running shoes,the distance between the test centers is too far away are the existing problems in the test.Unfair phenomenon such as bribing the examiner,doping,pay someone to test,make false starts are still existed in the test.(8)Multiple training motivation,less training time and professional skills training lead to a poor physical quality and motor skills in the physical education students admitted by colleges and universities in recent years.(9)There are three enrollment types in the physical education major motor skills test,namely “Attaching much weight to sports achievements and considering academic records less”,“Attaching much weight to academic records and considering sports achievements less”,“A balanced consideration in academic records and sports achievements”.The type of “Attaching much weight to sports achievements and considering academic records less” is the commonest,but the type of “A balanced consideration in academic records and sports achievements” is the best.
