Since 1978,China’s economy has achieved rapid development,and education has gradually been on the right track.As the key to education,teaching materials have played an important role in the development of China’s education,among which Chinese teaching materials are China’s basic teaching materials and have unique educational value.By studying the changes in Chinese teaching materials,we can understand the changes in China’s educational policies and educational concepts in different eras,so as to understand the development process of Chinese cultural education in China.Junior high school Chinese textbooks include texts from different eras and genres,and Chinese modern and contemporary novels,as an important part of the selected texts,also have their own unique role.Chinese modern and contemporary novels are an important branch in the history of Chinese literature,which to a certain extent reflects the development of literature and the changes of the times.Therefore,it has an important significance for the development of language education in China to study the changes in the selection of Chinese modern and contemporary stories in the language textbooks of junior high schools.This paper takes the textbook of the Humanities Education Edition as an example to sort out the changes in the selection of Chinese modern and contemporary novels in the middle school language textbooks since 1978,analyze the factors and revelations of the changes,so as to draw a few teaching inspirations,with a view to offering some implications for the development of language education.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part discusses the selection background,the significance of the study,the current status of the study and the methodology respectively.This study takes the importance of contemporary Chinese novel selections in junior high school language textbooks as the background of the selected topic,with a view to complementing the study of secondary school language materials to a certain extent.The second part discusses the value of selected essays from modern and contemporary Chinese novels.It is mainly discussed from three aspects: standardizing the use of modern Chinese,understanding the basic knowledge of Chinese modern and contemporary novels,and establishing modern consciousness.The third part takes the middle school language of the Humanities Education Edition since 1978 as an example,and provides statistics and analysis of the changes in the selection of Chinese modern and contemporary novels,mainly from four points of view: the number of selected texts,the type of authors,the subject matter,and the way they are arranged.The fourth part is to make an analysis of the reasons for the evolution of the selection of Chinese modern and contemporary novels and to draw strategies for the chapter selection.The analysis of the reasons is mainly based on four aspects: changes in the times,requirements of language curriculum,authors’ own influence on novels,and students’ physical and mental development requirements.At the same time,the selection strategies of the selected texts are explained in four levels: topicality,classicism,plurality,and instrumentalism and humanism.The fifth part is the teaching enlightenment brought about by the changes in the selection of modern and contemporary Chinese novels.There are four main levels,one is to interpret the content of the selected essay from multiple angles from the overall starting point of view.The second is the efficient use of teaching materials to optimize the teaching of the novel.The third is to present teaching and learning strategies from the four areas of core literacy.The fourth is to start from reading,thinking training and writing,and let students practice practically.The concluding part is the conclusion of this thesis,which summarizes the main contents and findings of this thesis.The above research has sorted out and analyzed the selected texts of Chinese modern and contemporary novels in the junior high school Chinese textbook of the People’s Education Edition,and obtained corresponding teaching enlightenment,which is not only conducive to the exploration of junior high school Chinese textbooks,but also conducive to providing certain reference significance for the teaching of junior high school Chinese modern and contemporary novels. |
