Modern Poetry(also known as new poetry)is a new crystallization of the development of poetry since the May 4th New Culture Movement.It has not only the modern consciousness and red culture that ancient poetry does not have,but also the aesthetic concept and art form influenced by foreign poetry.Only by choosing the appropriate teaching content for the teaching of new poetry,can we better achieve the goal of the curriculum and complete the task of moral education and teaching.On the basis of learning from the predecessors' experience in modern poetry teaching,this paper discusses the selection of modern poetry teaching content and its basis and suggestions within the scope of the unified junior high school Chinese teaching materials,so as to help teachers to examine the teaching materials,select,determine and even expand the teaching content from the teaching materials.This paper first analyzes the current situation of the selection and compilation of modern poetry in junior high school Chinese textbooks and the selection of teaching content,and finds that there are still some problems to be overcome,such as unclear target,weak sense of style,lack of writing training,boring classroom content and so on.Then it explains the basis of the choice of modern poetry teaching content.The author thinks that teachers must make a reasonable choice of teaching content according to the requirements of curriculum standards,learning situation,relevant education,teaching,psychology,literature and other theories and text characteristics.Next,combined with the basis of the above selection of teaching content and the specific interpretation of modern poetry in the textbook,this paper attempts to put forward the basic teaching content of modern poetry,including the preset teaching content and the generative teaching content.The teaching contents of presupposition mainly include emotion and values(especially the inheritance of Red Culture),aesthetics(the three beauties of poetry),mode of thinking(imagination and association),writing guidance and Poetry Interpretation and appreciation methods.Combining with the modern poetry in the textbook,the author discusses the contents that poetry should be taught,and gives some brief teaching suggestions.Generative teaching content is mainly temporary,random,accidental and dynamic content in the classroom,which needs teachers to control flexibly and tactfully and teachers and students to complete together.Finally,based on the preset teaching content items mentioned above,this paper analyzes the teaching record of nostalgia,a famous teacher,and designs the teaching plan of modern poetry "the market in the sky",hoping that more reasonable,rich and specific teaching content can help to further improve the level of modern poetry teaching in Junior middle school and optimize the effect of education and teaching.
