Ancient poetry contains the essence of Chinese traditional culture.As an exceptional style of literary,ancient poetry is used as a kind of language teaching material,which can make students have access to the ancient poetry and Chinese traditional culture more directly,fast and efficiently.It can also greatly increase the number of the students who learn the ancient poetry and the traditional culture.It is the right time to add those classic poems to the language teaching material for Chinese students,for students in junior middle school are forming their world outlook,views on life and values at this time.The addition is beneficial to the students and the improvement of their perception of beauty.This paper focuses on 89 poems from the 6 copies of the junior middle school language teaching material published by People's Education Press in 2011.There are illustrations of the meaning of research,the present situation and the method of research in the introduction part,the definitions of the addition of People's Education Press,the Chinese teaching material,ancient poems and selected works included.The first chapter,mainly in the form of a list,shows the present situation of compilation of ancient Chinese poems in Chinese textbooks for junior middle school students.Then summarize them from the two aspects of selection and the arrangement of the compilation.The second chapter,mainly based on the Chinese curriculum standard 2011,the life education theory,developmental psychology theory,is the basis of the selection of ancient poems in Chinese textbooks for junior middle school in 2011,and it also illustrates the rationality of the selection by giving examples.The third chapter illustrates the characteristics of the selection of ancient poems from the aspects of selection and layout in this paper.On the one hand,the selection in this thesis is flexible,large time span,flexible style,and the authors and works of ancient Chinese poems are excellent.However,there are also part of the selection of ancient Chinese poems is not in conformity with the life education theory,in the tang and song dynasties,and "bei" poems too many shortcomings.On the other hand,as for choreography aspects,each poems is lead by its unit theme,and part of the poems have colorful illustrations,which is good for students to grasp the author writing emotion and understand poetry artistic conception.But some classical poems in the position of the choreography is not obvious in the textbooks,and the distribution of the number is not very reasonable.The fourth chapter is about the recommendations on the shortcomings of the compilation of ancient Chinese poems in this set of textbooks.These selected article should be guided by the theory of "life education".In addition to the works of tang and song dynasties,some other dynasties works should be added appropriately.to balance the selection of all kinds of ancient Chinese poems.On the choreography,highlight the position of the part of the classical poetry in the teaching material,and rich the unit theme,reasonable distribution of the number of those ancient texts are also very important.
