By surveying and collecting the material and data in three middle schools,which are located in Guangdong Province,Beijing,respectively,this paper analyses the current situation and cause for music school-based curriculum.It was found that music school-based curriculum exists the following problems: absence of specialized training faculties and textbooks,the lack of systematic and standard teaching facilities and arrangements.Finally,the corresponding measures and suggestions are proposed in view of the existing problems,for instance,to study the essence of traditional culture,based on scientific decision-making for school-based curriculum,adhere to the principle of individual-oriented,increase the teaching hours,set up flexible evaluating system,increase educational fund input,improve the hardware facilities,etc.
