| The 13th Five-Year Plan period is a critical period in China's economic and social development.The plan requires to improve the quality of the population and the degree of social civilization evidently.To achieve this goal,the urgent strategic themes is deepening the comprehensive reform of higher education,making sure financial investment of local colleges and the balanced development of regional economic.There are more than 2500 local colleges in China,account for 95%of all higher education schools.So the development of local colleges directly affects the popularity and fairness of our country's higher education.From the membership function of school,local government is the main financial source of local colleges,and because of the different development of regional economic,it's hard to balance the financial investment of local colleges.Based on this background,this paper analyzes the influential factors of financial investment and regional development of local higher education in China through theoretical knowledge and empirical research.First of all,the author summarizes the current situation of financial investment in local higher education in China,and makes a theoretical analysis from the perspective of regional economy,educational equity and social development theory.Secondly,from the general situation of the general higher education in our country,the structure of education funds and the higher education funding,we make a statistical analysis of the differences in the financial input of the general higher education in China's 31 provinces,and grasp the difference of investment in local education funds in recent years.Thirdly,from the perspective of space and time to establish the impact of local general higher education financial investment and regional development of the panel model.Finally,the author puts forward some reasonable suggestions for the improvement of the local government's financial investment and regional development. |
