As an important part of basic education,Chinese teaching in junior middle school has attached importance to the national education department.The outline of the reform of basic education curriculum in its objectives stresses that "curriculum which overemphasizes knowledge teaching should make a change to the cultivation of active learning attitude","The situation of passive learning,rote-learning,and mechanical training also need to be changed".Students are propose to be active participation,devoted research and engagement.Furthermore,it insists the cultivation of students with robust physique mentality and the development of good taste and healthy lifestyle.Obviously it requires us to give up the mechanical and stereotype educational thinking and teaching method.The curriculum reform benefits not only learning itself but also student's lifestyles and quality of life in the future.All of the cultivation of a positive concept of life and values,the nurture of mentality and the ease of life are inseparable form the edification of Chinese teaching.The aim of poetic language teaching is to get the spirit of enjoying and warm up students' livelihood.Except for the introduction and the literature review,this thesis is composed of four chapters.And the last three chapters are the main focuses.The first chapter illustrates the concepts related to poetic language which is put forward by the Chinese teacher Wang Songzhou in primary school.This part studies the production and development of the poetic language from the four stages of his expertise.And then strategies used in poetic language teaching classes are analyzed as a whole.The second chapter studies the value of the application of the Wang Songzhou's poetic language teaching idea to middle-school Chinese teaching.And it manages to return middle school Chinese teaching to nature.Then the third chapter talks about the practical application of poetic language teaching in middle school Chinese reading classes.On the basis of the above two chapters,chapter three elucidates how the poetic language teaching concept is applied to middle school reading teaching by taking account of my own teaching experience and choosing the most representative cases.Chapter four talks about the setbacks and solutions of the concept of poetic language and its application,which aims to pave the way for further researches and development.
