Sports activities can not only strengthen the stay-at-home children's physical quality,but also improve their psychological development.However,most of current researches on the stay-at-home children analyze from sociology and psychology perspectives,researches that analyze the stay-at-home children from the angle of sports are rare and precious.Given this,this thesis will take the stay-at-home children who are in the rural area of Dongchangfu District as the respondents to investigate the sports condition of those children by using the methods of literature study,questionnaire,logical analysis on the basis of reviewing the relevant documents about stay-at-home children.From this condition,this thesis attempts to find out the problems of sports which those stay-at-home children are engaged in,and why stay-at-home children have this kind of problems.Then this these try to put forward some suggestions.The research results prove that the guardianship systems of the stay-at-home children in the rural area of dongchangfu district mostly are single guardianship,the next is every generation guardianship.On the staying number of years,most children have 1-2 years of staying-at-home experience.The schools in rural area of Dongchangfu have two PE class every week,and every class will keep 45 minutes.Therefore the total class hours cannot reach the request of New Curriculum Standard.The main reason is that the schools are lack of professional gym teachers and Physical classes are seriously occupied by other classes.In terms of the performance of the stay-at-home children in class,some performances of stay-at-home children in physical education is dissatisfying.And nearly 70% of stay-at-home children are dissatisfied with their physical classes.Comparing with 86% non-stay-at-home children,69% stay-at-home children of rural school in Dongchangfu district still have big gap,basketball and table tennis are their favorite sports.On the time of doing sports,most stay-at-home children can do extracurricular activities for 20-40 minutes,but a very few stay-at-home children can keep doing extracurricular for more than 60 minutes.On the times of participating activities,most children can keep do extracurricular activities for 2 times a week.Generally speaking,there are six reasons influence these children in Dongchangfu district taking sport-activities,such as heavylearning pressure,short of space equipment,lack of professional guidance,limited by economic conditions,family support missing and lack of leisure time.Among these factors,the space equipment which should be provided by the school and teachers' professional guidance are the most important two aspects,the following one is the family support missing and lack of leisure time.In a word,this thesis will be based on improving the stay-at-home children's sports current condition,from school,family and society,try to come up with corresponding countermeasures in order to provide a good sports environment and full range of sports,then to develop their body and mind healthily.
