The Research On Fragmentary Time And Its Management Of College Students

Peter F.Drucker,master of Management once said,time is the rarest resource,a good management of time is the precondition of other management activities.For college students,the time of college life is only four years which is so short for students to improve themselves.So that the situation of time management will directly influences the improvement of personal qualities and academic level.Nowadays,with the speeding up of the pace of life,and the development of Internet technology,fragmentary time has aroused people's attention.The college students' fragmentary time management also caused the attention of Educational scholars.But what exactly is fragmentary time? What's the characteristic of fragmentary time? How do college students manage these fragmentary time? The research of no detail.Therefore research on college students' fragmentary time and its management has strong practical significance.The research process by literature method,interview method and questionnaire method.By applying method of literature,I have retrieved "CNKI","Duxiu search","EBSCO education,psychological database","BaiLian search" and "school library resources" to discover the relevant literature about the fragmentary time,time management and fragmentary time management.After extracting the literature related to college students' fragmentary time and its management,the research found theoretical basis.By using interview method,the research has interviewed several college students of H school.To analysis,then import the qualitative interview data to analysis software Nvivo 11,basising grounded theory research method of xiangming Chen's qualitative research.After opened logining,associated logining and cored logining,the interview data is constructed to the theory of the concept of fragmentary time.Combining the defined rules,finally put out the concept of fragmentary time.Using the questionnaire method to investigate college students' ten kinds of common fragmentary time.Then made a survey from three dimensions of fragmentary time management awareness,fragmentary time management behavior and fragmentary time management evaluation to find the current situation of college students' fragmentary of time management,providing the basis for college students' fragmentary time management advice.Research into three parts: the first part,use the method of grounded theory research to study college students' concept of fragmentary time.The second part,on the basis of the time management theory,compiling the college students' fragmentary time management questionnaire to analysis college students' fragmentary time management status.The third part,the Suggestions are put out according to the study of fragmentary time and its management of college students.Studies show that fragmentary time is a kind of scattered time which is squeezed from the system time in your life.Contains two ways: one is passive,for example,the time for waiting someone,lining,walking,etc.do which can not affect the normal activities during the time of doing things must to be done.The length of this kinds of fragmentary time is different;the other is initiative time that is very small come between two chunks of time.Such as time between class,generally shorter than half an hour.The characteristics of the fragmentary time are randomness,dispersion,arbitrariness,and difference.The length,type,and whether can be used will be affected by situational factors,situational factors include personal time management consciousness,ability and stability of the external environment.College students' common 10 kinds of fragmentary time are the time for waiting for someone,bus,and a meal,bus riding,walking,lining up,eating,in toilet,recess,before bed time.The score of fragmentary time management consciousness of college students is high,but the behavior is poor,and also,the satisfaction is low.That performances in several aspects: though time is rich but less planning,frequency is low,purpose of time management is single only for killing time or entertainment,content of time management is mainly to be the use of social software,carrier of time management is single only mobile phones,methods of fragmentary time management single too.To improve college students' time management skills,it is necessary to improve the fragmentary time management consciousness;grasp the method of scientific fragmentary time management;summarize and reflect the situation of one's fragmentary time management;improve the efficiency of time management.
