Research On The Development Status Of China’s Disabled Athletics Team

The movement for the disabled started with rehabilitation therapy.After World War II,all countries in the world have a large number of wounded soldiers,they spontaneously organize various forms of physical exercise and competition,rehabilitation of the body after the war,which is the embryonic form of modern sports for disabled people.Sports for the disabled has now become part of the modern Olympic indispensable,is an important window of development all over the world the disabled and disabled people,but also an important indicator to measure the level of development of sports of a country,so for the disabled sports research,especially the study of competitive sports projects is particularly important.Track and field,as an important part of competitive sports for the disabled,has developed rapidly in recent years.However,has made remarkable achievements,the athletes of track and field team for the disabled in China also faces many problems and challenges hitherto unknown,this paper aims to fully understand the development situation of China’s disabled athletes team,find out the unfavorable factors of disabled athletics development,and puts forward some suggestions and Countermeasures to provide a reference for the healthy development of our country track the disabled.Through the method of literature,questionnaire,on-the-spot investigation method,the basic situation of expert interviews and mathematical statistics on gender,Chinese athletes disabled age,regional structure,type of disability;training motivation,training arrangement training;training time,the number of participating competition;research funding,the scientific research management factors,and obtained the following results:1,China’s disabled athletes track and field athletes imbalance in proportion,the proportion of close to 2:1.2,Our disabled track and field athletes age structure is bigger,more serious,more than 26 years age accounted for 53.61%.3,China’s disabled athletes from 58% of urban families,more than from rural areas,Liaoning province currently has the largest number of disabled track and field athletes.4,China’s disabled athletes track and field athletes in the overall level of education below the high school level,reaching less than 20% of the total university and above.5,Track and field projects to better provinces and cities to maintain the annual training of athletes is only 44%,the rest are pre competition focused training,training time is short,less opportunities for participation,research and social security efforts inadequate.Through combing the current situation of the disabled track and field athletes in our country,we can draw the following conclusions:1,Guangdong,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Liaoning,Hebei and other provinces and cities by the funding,personnel,supplies and training of athletes,scale advantages of the development of the project,the athletics sports performance outstanding disabled.2,The disabled track and field athletes team has not formed a reasonable echelon construction layout,the material selection way is unitary,and has the bigger contingency and the passivity.3,Coaches are mostly retired and part-time staff,older,not fixed.4,Athletes lack long-term,systematic and persistent training,short training time and less competition.5,The existing training venues,facilities and funding are inadequate,the lack of social security after the retirement of athletes.
