The Study On The Characteristics Of Household And Its Impact On Population Mobility In China

In recent years,population mobility in our country is gradually showing the form of family mobility.Based on relevant mainstream literatures,this paper finds out those previous studies focused on single perspective either macro or micro aspect.What's more,those previous studies also ignored that family as an important carrier between individual and group.This paper presented out the hypothesis and makes a detailed discussion on the changes of household and population mobility in china.Based on the CLDS data in 2012,this paper uses the method of logistic analyses to study from two dimensions between individuals and families,further with the analysis of influence factors of patterns of family at the household level.In this paper,the results show that:First of all,China's total number of households increased significantly,while the average household size and the average number of people are reducing.Home style is becoming smaller and smaller.Family type is from the immediate family and the united family to the nuclear family and single family.It is worth noting that the proportion of single family rose increasingly.As the increase of per capita income of family,the income gap between urban and rural families is increasing.The trend of population mobility in China is also very obvious.With the increase of floating population,the phenomenon of family mobility is becoming more and more obvious.The Flow Decision-Making varies in family characteristics.In addition,the flow of rational decision-making is common.Secondly,on the analysis of the data,it is found that flow decisions of individuals are influenced by the characteristics of families,including the basic characteristics,economic characteristics,social system characteristics and the basic characteristics of individuals.Among them,the individual's flow decision is influenced most by the economic and social characteristics of the family,which is consistent with the theory of population migration and the theory of economics of new migration.Thirdly,the analysis also found that 17.14% of households in the flowage,mainly happened in the core family,single family,the flow pattern of families mainly happened from rural to city;family flow characteristics of different households have different situations.In addition,the results of the regression models show that the family characteristics including economic characteristics,social system characteristics and decision maker are of important to flow decision of family.In the flow patterns of family,characteristics of social system and decision maker characteristics have significantly impact on the flow patterns of family;but the basic characteristics of families is not the most important factor.
