Objective:HIIT as a popular fitness,its impact on health has been an widely attention of scholars both domestic and foreign.Compared with the traditional MCT,HIIT has the feature of time-saving and effective energy expenditure Furthermore,it' s helpful for the oxidation of lipid in EPOC.In this study,we propose research the influence of body composition,resting metabolic rate and EPOC in both two kinds of exercise in ordinary young men.To investigate application and probability of weight loss technique of HIIT,exploring a new view for body fitness.Methods:18 healthy young men were randomly divided into group H,M group of nine.8-weeks six 3-minute interval treadmill running(at 90%of V02 max)with an interval of 2-minute and continuous 30-minute running at 60%V02max were respectively given to the two groups,3 days per week.Parameters related to physiological function and energy metabolism were determined before,during and post exercise.The parameters include fat weight and fat%,RMR,TG,FFA,magnitude and duration of EPOC.All the datas are reported as MEAN ± SD,using SPSS18.0 software.A paired sample t-test and an independent sample t test were respectively used to find differences before and after the training.Furthermore,the blood parameters during training were analyzed by repeated measurements of variance.Statistical significance was accepted at P<0.05.Results:1 After the intervention,the significant decline of body fat rate(%)and abdominal fat mass(kg)only occurs in group H.2 After the intervention,the significant improvement of RMR(kcal/kg·D)occurs in group H.3 Fat oxidation,total energy consumption,energy ratio,magnitude and duration of EPOC in group H were significantly greater than group M.4 After the intervention,the variations of RER and FFA during EPOC in group H were significantly greater than in M group.The above indicates that HIIT is beneficial to accelerate fat oxidation during EPOC.Conclusions:1 HIIT and MCT can optimize body fat,enhance RMR,besides the effect of HIIT is better than MCT.2 8 weeks of HIIT,MCT have no great influence on the magnitude and duration of EPOC in healthy young people.But group H was significantly greater than group M.3 8 weeks of HIIT especially affects the total energy expenditure of the rapid phase(ASO-10)and the fat oxidation of slow recovery phase(AS10-30).4 EPOC is closely related to the metabolism of FFA.Compared with MCT,HIIT is more effective to improve fat mobilization,energy sources during EPOC.
