With the continuous development of new curriculum reform,some problems will emerge,such as the importance of teachers' development and the key role of teachers.In school education and teaching practice,teaching and research management activities play a major role in guiding front-line teachers,summarizing and innovating.Not only are the activities the cradle and important way of teachers'professional development,but also they are the forefront of school education and teaching research.The development and construction of teaching and research management activities will have a direct impact on development of teachers and school.In recent years,great changes have taken place in school education and teaching,such as the relationship between English teachers and students,subject learning focus and student learning styles.Under these circumstance,the role,tasks and functions of English teaching and research management activities in primary schools have changed along with it.As a member of English teaching and research group and an English teacher,the author thinks that,in daily education and teaching,importance should be attached to the construction and management of teaching and research activities.Therefore,it is necessary to study the present situation of teaching and research management in primary school.Taking Tianjin He Ping District for example,the thesis,from the angle of education management,discusses the present situation of English teaching and research management activities.The author made a systematical and farther research on the status of teaching and research management in urban primary school.The thesis discusses the topic from all aspects,from theory summary to practice survey,from survey statistics to results analysis,from summary of the problems to the countermeasures and suggestions.The conclusions are as follows:1.It needs extensive joints efforts to ensure the smooth development of primary English teaching.Primary English teachers,academic staff and schools need to conduct a variety of teaching researches and practice activities with more enthusiasm and positive attitude and find problems timely and summarize experience.2.All kinds of phenomena emerging in the development of academic development should be dealt with properly.The priorities of teaching and research management should be distinguished.Only in this way can it promote the steady development of English teaching in He Ping District.3.It is necessary to further strengthen the construction and management of English teaching and research group in He Ping primary schools.According to the conclusion,some suggestions are put forward in this thesis:to create a good environment for teaching and research management;to establish perfect management system for teaching and research group;to organize various teaching and research activities,such as experts' leading,linkage sharing and competitions.Schools and English teachers should carry out researches based on school-based teaching and research activities to improve the quality of teaching and research management;to realize professional leading by pairing help;to construct regional network platform as soon as possible.The thesis aims to provide reference and reference for the improvement of teaching and research management in our district.
