1937,the outbreak of the war of resistance against Japan,Nanjing,Wuhan have fallen.In November 20 th of the same year,the national government issued the declaration of the government of the People's Republic of China in Chongqing.The Ministry of education of the national government and major national institutions have moved to Chongqing,Chongqing has become the country's political,economic and cultural center.In the national government to co-ordinate arrangements,Chongqing began to build arsenals,development of industry,the founder of the school,a large number of cultural and art circles,various cultural groups and associations,large press,newspaper,schools have also moved to Chongqing,Chongqing ushered in the era of all-round development and prosperity in cultural and artistic aspects.It can be said that the 1937 1945 from Chongqing,due to the conversion of the role,the war stimulation has a great influence on the development of all aspects of the political,economic,cultural etc..Music is often marked by the times,the characteristics of each period of music directly reflect the social dynamics,but also counterproductive in this era.During the war of resistance against Japan,the music reflected the social situation of China during the war,and at the same time,it directly or indirectly encouraged the Chinese people's Anti Japanese enthusiasm and inspired thousands of Anti Japanese soldiers to gallop on the battlefield.Therefore,the national government attaches great importance to the function of music and attaches great importance to music education.In order to adapt to the needs of war,the national government has promulgated many laws and regulations related to music education,music education and re Organizing Committee issued the "revised Music Education Committee of the Ministry of education regulations",promote the development of music education.At the same time,this time many musicians and music educators have focused on Chongqing,writing songs in the theme of the lyrics,and organize the citizens and organizations to carry out school singing activities,its music publications,written music textbooks,has greatly promoted the development of music education in Chongqing.Music teaching material is an important carrier of the development of music,especially in primary and secondary school music teaching material is an important carrier of national music education,to shape the national character of the individual character,the cohesion of the national spirit has a great role.During the war of resistance against Japan,the music teaching materials of primary and middle schools take on the mission of the times.This paper intends to Chongqing during the Anti Japanese war in primary and middle school music teaching material as the research object,combing Chongqing during the Anti Japanese War and the use of published textbooks of primary and secondary schools,the teaching material compilation,publishing and content to do a rough sort.Primary and secondary school music teaching material is an important part of our understanding of music education in primary and secondary schools can not be ignored.They show the knowledge of music,but also reflect the changes and development of an era.Under the background of the unity of the whole nation in the war of resistance against Japan,the music teaching materials in primary and secondary schools are different from other times.The research on the music teaching materials in primary and secondary schools will help us to understand the situation of music education in the period of Anti Japanese war.After the search,the author found that domestic and foreign scholars in the war period of primary and middle school music teaching material is not high degree of concern,the war of primary and secondary school music teaching material exploration has not been a monograph.I guess,on the one hand may be due to the wartime social and economic conditions of weak turbulent,leading to major printing plant closures,music textbooks published so less,coupled with the wartime transportation inconvenience that music textbooks are not unified and standard;on the other hand,perhaps because part of the music class teaching materials may be lost or destroyed in the war so far,the time is long,so the archives and less dispersed,not easy to collect and collate the leading scholars under the influence and obstacles in the process of research.The author also encountered such problems in the information retrieval,but by each library,Chongqing City Archives and folk search collected after the master during the Anti Japanese war in primary and middle schools in Chongqing city had used the music teaching materials more than 40 copies.Based on these data,a comprehensive study of the teaching content,teaching materials on the background of the author and editor,the guiding ideology of the direction of research is expected to enrich our Chinese modern music education history,and make a contribution to the development of Chinese music education history.
