The paper holds that the local culture is an important part of multiculturalism.In the multicultural education,we must pay attention to the localization of Education.In school education,it not only integrates the characteristics of modern society,but also inherits and develops the local cultural resources--This position is a very important foothold in the current education.Based on the analysis of<THE SONG IN THE GATE>,the author hopes to provide some reference for the development and utilization of music school-based curriculum from the perspective of Multicultural Education This paper is divided into five parts:The introduction includes the reasons for choosing the topic,the present research situation and the research methods.The first chapter is about the practice,theoretical basis and application of the music school-based curriculum named<THE SONG IN THE GATE>,This chapter bases on the two aspects of theory and practice to research<THE SONG IN THE GATE>music school-based curriculum.Through the premise of theory and practice to determine what type the school-based curriculum develops and which local cultural resources can be used.The second chapter is about the analysis and evaluation of<THE SONG IN THE GATE>music school-based curriculum.This chapter analyses the musical elements of the local culture called"JIASHAN TIANGE "and try to find the valuable and suitable content to teach the students.Through the way of interviews and a questionnaire survey to know how the teachers and the students think about<THE SONG IN THE GATE>music school-based curriculum.Finally description the role this curriculum in school education and its achievement and harvest.Ensure the status of music school-based curriculum in school education.The third chapter through from<THE SONG IN THE GATE>music school-based curriculum to find the relationship of multicultural music education and localized music education.This chapter emphasizes local culture is a component of multiculturalism and describes the importance of local cultural education in the multicultural education in school education from the cultural inheritance and the innovation.
