As a new teaching method,flipped classroom gradually become one of the hot points for educators in global field,also becoming the focus to explore and research for many educators in China.The present study is an attempt to assist flipped classroom by using mobile learning platform,which propose a flipped classroom model that is suitable for computer skills' training course in universities according to features of courses and learners in colleges.And applying this model to VB Programming course in Southwest University of Science and Technology,which attempt to verify its'effectiveness.This paper has three main points,it includes:(1)Establishing a flipped classroom model that is supported by mobile learning platform.Base on existing flipped classroom model,analyzing the feature of flipped classroom and mobile learning.The results showed this model has an effective results in teaching practice,which can effectively improve students' scores,learning attitude and learning interest.(2)Designing and implementing a mobile learning platform that support flipped classroom.Through questionnaires and interview to learn students' need,this study references the flipped classroom model above,designing and implementing a mobile learning platform that support flipped classroom.The results showed this platform can effectively support the flipped classroom,which plays a vital role between communicating information and implementing learning activities.(3)The flipped classroom model that is supported by mobile learning platform.This study is rated as school-level teaching reform project in Southwest University of Science and Technology in 2016,taking VB Programming as an example,implementing the flipped classroom teaching model.The results showed students who use this teaching model have an effective results in scores,learning attitude and learning interest compare to those who use the traditional teaching method.
