With the continuous development of society,the standard of talent selection is changing.The essence of education is to answer the question of what kind of people should be trained,and the training of talents is ultimately to meet the needs of society.Therefore,the social demand for talents is from the ability of the students to shaping and training of cultivating the core quality,the new concept shows a new way clearly for the training talents.Key competencies is to survey the existing personnel training system by using the perspective of the development.The people need to have the ability to adapt to the future development of society and devlelop their own life-long ability.The development of the key competencies of students is an important means for the implementation of China's "moral education" of the fundamental task of education,so as to enhance the international competitiveness of China's education.The characteristic of Chinese subject is the unity of humanity and tool,and the tool also determines the basic position of Chinese discipline in other disciplines.The key competency of Chinese discipline is an important basis for the current content of Chinese Curriculum.High school stage is the key period for students to develop key competencies.In senior high school,Chinese elective course become a good way to develop key competencies of the student because of its diverse selectivity,flexible and diverse teaching methods and complementary characteristics of required courses.The purpose of this paper is to study the cultivation of students' key competence in Chinese elective courses in Senior High School.This paper analyzes the connotation and constitution of key competencies.To take “elective course of cultural treatise” as an example,this paper analyses on how to cultivate and develop students' key competence in chinese teaching.The author finds out the problems in the elective course of Chinese in Senior High School and also supports some teaching strategies about improving the chinese key competencies.The paper is summarized as follows:First of all,teachers should have an overall grasp of elective courses of cultural treatise,including the content,value and goal.Therefore,the author uses the method of literature reading to strengthen the control ability of this course through a large number of reading materials.Secondly,by means of questionnaire,so as to continuously improve the teaching situation of elective courses of “cultural treatise”,the author tries to find out the current teaching situation and the problems of the course of " cultural treatise".Finally,according to the teaching requirements and teaching situation of the elective courses,the author puts forward the corresponding strategies based on the key competencies.This part is mainly about the case study which combined the relevant teaching methods and teaching mode to mobilize the enthusiasm of students.Therefore,it can improve the teaching effect of elective courses of cultural treatise.
