Schools,are often given a beautiful name"home".What is home?Home is a paradise product joy and release;Banish the mind,release the life.The home is a field to produce energy and release energy;Home is a place inheritance of local culture,coordinate the mainstream and non-mainstream culture.Compared the school to "home",Reveal the heavy of school's mission,the strong of school's functions,also carry the ardent hope of the people.rural boarding school,as a place of student life and study;as a place of working and professional development;As a communication center spreading the culture of local culture.It has the particularities of the ecological environment and the special characteristics of school organization pattern,the particularities represent it has some very special functions when compared with other schools.Represents it is not only a place for the educational activities,but also having special functions..This study is acting the home as the main line,on the basis of references and combining theory and practice,through the observation and thinking of the family members and the special cultural environment,in-depth and comprehensive analysis and research two rural boarding schools of HeNan(M middle school and D middle school),to dig the special function of rural boarding school,in order to make the expected and wonderful "home "into a true home.in this paper,the classification of the rural boarding school have main reference to functionism's classification and the provisions of national papers for schools and boarding schools.Eventually,in the direction of the function,namely the internal(students,teachers,school),foreign(village).According to the above logic thinking,through to the data collection and analysis,this paper is divided into six parts to discuss:The first chapter is an introduction:walk into another "home"-rural boarding school.Which mainly included the theme,research objectives and significance of the paper.and connecting with the boarding schools in rural areas,functions and the functions of boarding schools in rural areas and other related documents,in addition,this chapter also presented research status and the deficiency of research of rural boarding schools,defined related concepts,selected research methods and determined research ideas.The chapter 2-5,based on synthesizing questionnaires and interview materials,from the perspective of pedagogy,sociology to explain school functions,so as to provide theoretical guidance for the development of rural boarding schools.Among them,the second chapter mainly describes the effective implementation of the functions of rural boarding schools.Mainly revolves around students,teachers,school,and village.Elucidates the different functions in view of these main subjects,and analysis the effective implementation of its functions,as well as the loss of its functions.Rural boarding schools have these effective functions to students,such as educational function,look after students;Effective functions to teachers are teachers management,professional training,and the satisfaction of material needs;Effective functions to themselves are preserving;Effective functions to village are dialect inheritance,re-education.These functions of effective promote the development of the school and the elements.However,some functions play a fruitful,but some functions like invisible,do not achieve the expected effect.In chapter 3-5,analysis the main problem in the aspect of function and the reasons of the problems of rural boarding schools by studying the essence of education,the value of school for teachers,and the local resources and rural support for school.The third chapter mainly show the time arrangement of rural boarding school students,the school space is ignored,some students suffer from excessive selection and exclusion,and Students are dissatisfied with their current state and the hope of school life.Chapter 4 shows teachers' professional body is divided,under the pressure of the tangible and intangible,background life lack of energy,and their own professional development limited.Managers have the helpless to the enrolment rate,overstrain on safety,feel powerless on the current status of the school material,As well as teachers' desire for "settle down and get on with one'pursuit",and the demands of managers for the future of the school.Chapter 5 shows the contradictions between the school and family,the isolation of the village in life,and the call of the family and village to the rural boarding school.Chapter 6 aiming at the existing problem of functions of rural boarding schools,put forward the corresponding countermeasures.The "family" should change the traditional role;Parents of students should awareness of the importance of family education;rural boarding schools should have the correct value orientation of functions.social education,family pattern.With a full range of prospects for the construction of rural boarding schools to become happy,balanced and harmonious real home.fuse together the social education,a supplement to the family pattern.hope to through a full range of prospects,make rural boarding schools become a real home which is Happy,balanced and harmonious.
