The issue based on the new concept of high school history curriculum reform,which is starting from the reality where there is an urgent need to change it,has formed teaching method dominated situation,and put forward the possibility and effectiveness of group discussion teaching method in high school history class.At the same time,this paper analyzes the organization,teaching principles and teaching effect in this process.The development of quality education requires that the classroom teaching should adhere to the student as the main body,the teacher as the leading factor,and actively carry out the students' discussion,the teacher-leading classroom teaching model,so that students can take the initiative to learn.Classroom group discussion teaching method is an inevitable choice in high school.It is very helpful to improve the quality of all aspects of students.The constant practice and exploration are needed,in order to achieve the teaching objectives better.Classroom group discussion teaching method is the improvement and supplement to the traditional teaching method.This paper mainly includes the following four aspects: First,the significance of group discussion teaching method in classroom.This paper mainly discusses the advantages of group discussion teaching method,which are compared with the traditional teaching method.Second,the present situation of the research on group discussion teaching method and the theoretical basis of this subject.Through the research on the classroom discussion teaching method in the academic circles,this paper points out the feasibility and necessity of the group discussion teaching method in senior high school history class.Third,take Chengxian No.1 High School as an example for the exploration and practice to discuss the process of high school history teaching method.This paper accurately discusses the experiment scheme,experimental process and experimental results of the group discussion teaching in the history class of senior high school.Then,this paper analyzes the practical results of classroom group discussion teaching method and draws a conclusion,which points out the limitations of the discussionteaching method,summarizes the application scope of discussion teaching method in senior high school history curriculum and puts forward some reasonable suggestions.Hoping to improve the teaching effect of group discussion teaching method to achieve the teaching objectives better than before.
