Since the implementation of educational curriculum reform,the education is also a new trend,the examination of education,"teacher control" "full house irrigation" teaching model is not suitable for the development of education now,teaching effect is not obvious,student' ability is difficult to improve.The new curriculum under the concept of junior high school geography classroom teaching should reflect the study of life useful geography;learning for life-long development of useful geography;to build an open geographical course.The new curriculum concept is more emphasis on the suitability of learning content,development,the ability of students to put forward higher requirements.Group discussion of this teaching method is a good reflection of the student status,in the discussion process a good group discussion topics can play a leading role in mobilizing the enthusiasm of students to show students expertise.Geography teachers should allow students to discuss learning to develop geography thinking,improve students' geographical ability.How to properly use the group discussion of such teaching methods,in addition to understand the group discussion procedures,principles,precautions,the most critical should be designed to discuss the topic of the group discussion,group discussion topics of the content,the title form,etc.are different Aspects of the impact of the quality of the geographical classroom,a good topic not only to achieve teaching objectives,but also can attract the attention of students to improve the interest of students to learn geography.The main conclusion of this paper is to pay attention to the topic of group discussion is a prerequisite,carefully prepared group discussion topic is to protect the rich group discussion topic source is the key,multi-aspect evaluation is the foundation.On the other hand,this paper studies the topic of group discussion in junior middle school geography teaching from the following aspects.The first part is the introduction,comprehensive analysis group discussion and group discussion topic research background and country research status,by reading the literature,summarize the group discussion topic Concepts,principles,characteristics,theoretical basis and so on.The second part is the analysis of the classroom through the video observation and literature in the teaching design to find out in the geography classroom teaching group discussion of the problem,to analyze the case as an example;the third part of this article is to write a questionnaire for statistical analysis,In the practical geography classroom teaching topics such as: the number of topics discussed in the group is not uniform,the group discussion topic form is single,the group discussion topic content is too simple,the group discussion topic mostly comes from the teaching material;The fourth part is to In the junior middle school geography teaching group discussion topic problems from the teacher and the students two aspects of the solution strategy;the fifth part is the main conclusion.
