Study On The College Student Volunteers Of Science Popularization In Shandong Province

Since the 21 st century,with the development of various science popularization activities and the increasing of the curiosity,the public has a new understanding of scientific knowledge.As a scientific popularization place,science museums have gain the attention of country and public,science and technology gradually into the development of high tide.In recent years,various types of science and technology venues have been opened for people to popularize scientific knowledge,leisure travel provides a place.As a result,science popularization volunteers role has become increasingly prominent.Although some policies and regulations have introduced,our country has not yet formed a more comprehensive science popularization volunteer service organization because of the late start,the development of a short time,lack of experience and other factors.It is of great significance to study the construction of science popularization volunteers team,which is not only beneficial to the development of science museums,but also can meet the needs of the public.This paper makes a necessary follow-up,investigation and systematic analysis of the college student volunteers service of science popularization in some science museums,and understands the current situation of science popularization volunteers service among college students in science and technology,and explores the problems in the service process.Hoping to improve the quality of college students science popularization volunteers service basis and reference.This paper contains of six chapters.Chapter One: Introduces the background,meaning,domestic and foreignresearch present situation.Understand the development status,characteristics,classification and social impact of college students' science popularization volunteers team.The introduction also explains the process of research and methods.Chapter Two: Based on the previous study,the author make a brief overview of science popularization and science volunteers from the definition,origin,content and other aspects.And summarizes the typical characteristics of organizational,diversity,practicality and mobility of college students' science popularization volunteers,and makes a statement on the volunteer service activities of college students in some cities in Shandong Province.Chapter Three: Describes the current situation of popular service for college students in Shandong province.In this part,the author compiled the questionnaire and interview outline by referring to the literature.Through the field investigation,239 college students in some popular science curricula in Shandong province were surveyed,and the distribution and service status of the popular science students of Shandong province were analyzed graphically.In addition,interviews from the management staff of the science museums and some volunteers provided a deeply understanding about the difficulties and shortcomings in the process of volunteer service.Chapter Four: According to the statistics of the survey and the interviews with the managers and some volunteers of the science museums,it is point out that the current problems of the college student' volunteer team.The problems is mainly small scale of team,lack of knowledge,lack of assessment and incentive mechanism,lack of relevant security,etc.Chapter Five: According to the analysis of the existing problems,countermeasures and suggestions have been put forward to improve the overall quality,broaden the service platform,improve the incentive mechanism and security system.The main purpose of suggestions and countermeasures is to promote the volunteer service group a further development.Chapter Six: Summary and Reflection: Summarizes the research and reconsiders the shortcomings and deficiencies in the research.
