Objective: This paper study the status of junior middle school teachers' fatigue in Sanmenxia by questionnaire,explores the effects of individual characteristics,occupational stress,coping style and life satisfaction on their fatigue,so as to put forward advices to alleviate their fatigue degree,help teachers to establish a good coping mechanism,improve teachers' life satisfaction,provide a theoretical basis for health system of junior middle school.Object and Method:This survey was conducted by cluster sampling in six junior middle schools in Sanmenxia urban area.This survey included all instructors who were informed and willing to participate,and excluded teachers wre not on duty during the survey period and teachers who do not participate in the survey.This survey issued 640 copies were collected,and 605 valid questionnaires were collected,the effective rate was 94.53%.The survey includes the general information of junior middle school teachers,the Self-rating Fatigue Scale(FASA),the Secondary School Teachers' Occupational Stress Questionnaire,the WHO-5 quality of life questionnaire,the trait coping style questinnaire and the main problems that need to be addressed in the current work of junior middle schools sorted by questionnaires.Using SPSS19.0 to establish the database,analyze the basic data using the analysis of variance,t test,chi-square test,nonparametric test,the factors that affect the degree of fatigue of junior middle school teachers were analyzed by correlation analysis and multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results:1.Among the 605 junior middle school teachers,191 were mildly fatigue,accounting for 31.5%,414 were moderate fatigue,accounting for 68.5%.2.The level of the total score of fatigue have significant difference in gender,age,teching age,intermediate grade,education background,whether concurrent administrative teacher and whether class teacher.Fatigue degree of 40 ~49 years old age is the highest,intermediate grade teachers' fatigue degree is higher than other teachers,class teachers' fatigue level is higher than that of the other teachers,fatigue degree of teachers who have graduate degree is lower than other education teachers.3.Negative coping score of junior middle school teachers was 33.02 ±4.988,the positive coping score was 36.58.02±2.142,imply junior middle school teachers are willing to choose positive coping style.There were significant differences in coping styles among junior middle school teachers with different genders,age,teaching age(P< 0.05).The 40~49 year old age group has the highest positive coping ability of teachers,negative coping ability of the teachers who under 30 years old is the worst.4.29.4% junior middle school teachers' life satisfaction score was high;70.6% junior minddle school teachers' life satisfaction was low.Age,educational level,and whether the concurrent administrative teachers will affect the junior middle school teachers' life satisfaction;multivariate regression analysis showed that the OR values of total occupational pressure,fatigue score,and negative coping were 0.947,0.966,0.968,which are risk factors for teachers' life satisfaction,and positive coping OR value was 0.924,which is a protective factor for teachers' life satisfaction.There is a positive correlation between life satisfaction and positive coping,that is the higher the positive coping ability,the higher the life satisfaction.5.The fatigue of the multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that 5 factors in the equation:occupation total score,examination pressure,students factors,work load factors,positive coping and life satisfaction.OR value of ccupation pressure total score,examination pressure,student factors,work load were 1.166,1.166,1.168,1.213,which are risk factors for teachers' fatigue.OR value of positive coping and life satisfaction were 0.808,0.369,which are protective factors for teachers' fatigue.Conclusion:(1)Fatigue status of junior middle school teachers is bad.Low salary treatment and large workload,occupation expectation,self development,teacher occupation pressure,coping style and life satisfaction are generally considered to be the important reasons of the fatigue among junior middle school teachers.(2)Factors affecting the fatigue level of junior middle school teachers are complicated.Different individual characteristics of junior middle school teachers have significant differences in fatigue,occupation stress,life satisfaction andcoping style.(3)Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that the relationship between junior middle school teachers and the degree of fatigue life satisfaction.
