The great prosperity of material world,along with the long-term development of the human society,has spurred people from the initial phase of “the survival of the fittest” to “beauty is the best”.The cultivation of aesthetic accomplishment has become one of the most important tasks of quality education in China.In the investigation of aesthetic education,many aesthetic education experts have written a large number of high-quality papers.Besides,a lot of master and doctor candidates have done quite creative jobs from aspects of disciplines,students and educators.In these studies,researchers discussed the aesthetic objectives and contents in different subjects,and gave some suggestions to improve them.However,the investigations of aesthetic education based on aesthetic needs and aesthetic psychology of students,especially of 12~14 years old children,are lacking.Therefore,it is particularly urgent and important to develop an effective program of aesthetic education for 12~14 years old children based on investigation and analysis.Based on the psychological characteristics and aesthetic characteristics of children,and through pedagogy and psychology related theory,interpretation on the current aesthetic education status of children was obtained before the construction of an aesthetic education theory system for children.The aim of this work is to enrich the aesthetic education in our country,and to improve our children's aesthetic accomplishment.Specifically,the thesis consists of five parts.The first chapter is the introduction,arranged mainly according to the logical order: motivation and research significance,background,study routes and methods,difficulty and innovation;the second chapter defines the age,psychological,and aesthetic psychological characteristics of the children from the concepts of "children","competences" and "aesthetic competences".Besides,related concepts of aesthetic quality are analyzed to elaborate the contents,structure and functions of aesthetic accomplishment education;the third chapter penetrates the current situation and prominent problems of children's aesthetic accomplishment education;the fourth chapter is the attribution research,mainly from the subjective and objective aspects: reasons from children's psychological characteristics,aesthetic psychological characteristics,mass aesthetic culture,school aesthetic curriculum and teachers' aesthetic competences are summarized;the fifth chapter is about the construction of education programs for children's aesthetic accomplishment.Basic principles and strategies which should be followed in the process of cultivating the aesthetic qualities of 12~14 years old children are proposed.The aesthetic cultivation of children should be heuristic,step by step,epochal and experiential.Finally,corresponding strategies of children's aesthetic accomplishment are drawn: first,to enrich aesthetic activities in school,and to increase children's aesthetic experiences;second,to emphasize the importance of aesthetic education in school and to promote teachers' aesthetic accomplishment;third,to create a hidden aesthetic culture and to arouse children's aesthetic interest,;forth,to cultivate the correct aesthetic view,and to construct a virtuous aesthetic system.
