Now one of the important stressors of junior high school students is to study the pressure,learning pressure seriously affected the mental health of junior high school students.With the increasing pressure of learning,the attendant test anxiety problem has become one of the important problems faced by junior high school students,alleviating the test anxiety of junior high school students,ensuring the mental health growth of junior high school students and improving the test scores of junior high school students The needs of the school has become the task of mental health education and mission.This study explores the status quo of junior college students' test anxiety,and also focuses on the study of group counseling to reduce the anxiety of junior high school students.In this study,210 students from Grade 1 to Grade 3 of a junior secondary school in Kaifeng City were randomly selected to test the examination anxiety scale(TAS)to understand the current status and demographic characteristics of current junior high school students' test anxiety.On the basis of this,the students with high scores of test anxiety were selected as the research object,and the intervention effect of group counseling in junior college students' test anxiety was explored.The results are as follows(1)junior high school students,mild anxiety accounted for 18%,moderate anxiety accounted for 52% of the number of people,the number of severe anxiety was 30%.(2)Students of different demographic variables do not differ in the scores of test anxiety.(3)Before and after the intervention,there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group.After the intervention,the scores of test anxiety in the experimental group were significantly lower than those in the control group.The score of the test anxiety before the intervention group was significantly higher than that of the intervention,The score of the test anxiety before the intervention group was significantly lower than the score after intervention.Conclusion: The level of test anxiety in junior high school students is worrying.Focusing on group counseling is feasible as an intervention to improve the test anxiety of junior high school students.
