Chinese teaching is one of the most important courses in compulsory education of primary school and is the base of learning other courses.As the most important part of Chinese teaching in primary school,literacy teaching is the starting point and foundation of Chinese teaching.Literacy teaching determines the quality of Chinese teaching and is the emphasis to improve students' language accomplishment.In China,literacy teaching immediately rose with the emergence of Chinese characters.How long the history of Chinese characters is,long is Chinese characters teaching material construction and teaching method of education research.Not only Chinese characters teaching cultivate the students' ability to use tools to master Chinese characters,but also let the students taste the structure,meaning and sense of Chinese characters and transmit the excellent culture of the Chinese nation by the study and research of Chinese characters.Without high quality and efficiency of literacy teaching,there is no scientific development of the Chinese teaching.Literacy teaching of lower grade in primary school is the key of Chinese Teaching.Literacy teaching in primary school lower grade refers to " setting up the words sound,form and meaning in the learner's mind and eventually forming independent cognitive process of literacy in students of grade 1~ 2 of elementary school by the teacher's purposed,planned and organized activities to guide students to understand the Chinese character.For the improvement of the overall quality of Chinese Teaching,we need to pay attention to literate quality,independent literacy training,the practical application of the Chinese character and the humanistic emotion,not only to the literacy quantity.Lower grade literacy teaching should start from the actual situation of the students,so as to achieve the unity of form,sound and meaning of Chinese characters.The purpose of literacy is to apply words to using,reading and writing.There are some phenomena that do not conform to the lower grade cognitive law,that do not conform to the law and characteristics of Chinese characters in practical teaching.This paper tries to reveal the specific problems that exist in the lower grade literacy teaching and their reasons through multi-level researches and analysis.This article first points out the research significance of this topic,analyzes the present situation of literacy teaching research in China.The existing phenomena and problems on thecurrent Chinese literacy teaching material and teaching progress in junior school are also analyzed by using the Survey Research Method,Literature Research Method and Action Research Method.In this(thesis,the)concept of literacy teaching in lower grade is defined,the demands for the number,writing and spelling of literacy,as well as the characteristics of literacy teaching in lower grades is described clearly.This paper puts forward three principles in literacy teaching.The first one is word-oriented principles,which means literacy teaching should be based on the characteristics of Chinese characters and their recognition.Then eliminate distractions,follow the learning rules of Chinese characters and the development rules of children.The second one is using-oriented adherence,literacy teaching needs to achieve the unity of learning and using of Chinese characters,which means to take the understanding and expressing the word meaning,i.e.,the ability level of using words,as the final standard to evaluate the effects of literacy teaching.The third one is people-oriented adherence,which means literacy teaching needs to regard the students' all-round development as the final destination,especially the sustainable development of literacy,the ability of using words,and the comprehensive development of students' thinking and intelligence.The problems exiting in literacy teaching of the lower grades are analyzed in details.The problems are as follows: Firstly,using mechanical method in the practical teaching and ignoring the cultivation of students' literacy ability;Secondly,focusing on the quantity unilaterally and ignoring the combination of theory and application,therefore the four skills was turned into two skills because of the "shunt between writing and cognition" in literacy teaching;Thirdly,partial presets in literacy teaching,neglected the differences of students and pay less attention on literacy after class,etc.Meanwhile,the objective factors such as deficiency in compiling a textbook and learning foundation and ability also challenge the Chinese teachers of lower grades.Corresponding teaching methods are put forward by summarizing the experience of Chinese literacy teaching history,by combining previous literate methods of various literate schools,by following the regularity of Chinese characters constitution and junior students' psychological cognitive characteristics.The methods include some parts.One part is that letsthe students learn literate methods and improve the literate efficiency through classification by using rules of Chinese characters in the process of concentrated literacy.Another part is that guides the students to internalize learned words along with the article to read,to improve the productive ability,to get into reading teaching and to achieve the unity of learning and application.Meanwhile,attention on students' individual differences and teaching students in accordance with their aptitude are included as a part of the above mentioned methods.Three tactic reformation of literacy teaching,which are on the respects of teacher's "teaching",students "learning" and "from inside classroom to outside" are stated in details in this paper.We try to make students to lay a solid foundation,to improve the ability of reading independently,to get the most literate quantity in the shortest time and to making study to serve the practical purpose on reading and writing for increasing comprehensive literate accomplishment.The main idea of the full text is summed up in the conclusion,the deficiency and limitation are pointed out as well.
