The current curriculum reform emphasizes the importance of experimental teaching,and the popularization of experimental teaching is an important guarantee for the reform of basic education and the implementation of curriculum standards.Primary school science is a very important subject in primary school,which integrates the basic content of various fields of natural science,and plays a vital role in the cultivation of primary school students' scientific literacy.The teaching of science can not be separated from the scientific experiment,doing a good job of scientific experiment can cultivate the students' ability to operate,improve the students' enthusiasm and enhance students' learning initiative.First of all,the present situation of experimental teaching and experimental teaching are analyzed.From the following four aspects of scientific experiments: the teacher,the support from school in experimental teaching,teachers' scientific literacy and training discipline and students' learning the scientific experiments,we compiled the questionnaire of primary school science experiment teaching.Secondly,171 science teachers were surveyed from 24 schools from 6 cities in Shandong Province.The survey results show that the situation of primary school science experiment teaching is that all the science teachers can prepare lessons before class,but they can't carry out experiments well,and even some of them do not do experiments,only let the students recite some related knowledge.To carry out the experiment is not very good implementation,a lot of the teachers don't have enough professional knowledge so that they can not be a good guide.The condition in school is that the school did not allocate sufficient support for teachers teaching science experimental teaching,most of the science teachers are Chinese,mathematics and other disciplines of part-time teachers.And many schools lack laboratory configuration,laboratory equipment can not be updated.The condition in teachers' scientific training is that at present,many teachers did not have the opportunity to participate in a scientific experiment and training.The training courses some teachers can participate in are lower-level training.The training level is so low that the knowledge the teachers can get is not systematic.The students of the scientific experiment study is that although students love the experimental class,yet they consider the experimental class as the subjects like music,art and other disciplines,just like learning adjustment.They will only do some experiment in the class time with experimental instrument,and after class they will not do the research again.Finally,the paper summarizes the current problems in the scientific experiment teaching of primary schools in Shandong Province,including: There is no correct understanding of scientific experiments.The low teachers' experimental skills.Less professional training opportunities for teachers.The poor experimental conditions in schools.Students' lack of interest in learning.And then put forward five suggestions to solve these problems: Change the concept and improve the scientific importance.Strengthen teachers' education and improve the teachers' professional quality.Increase investment in education and improve the experimental conditions.Adjust teaching methods to mobilize the students' enthusiasm.
