| Political identification is the emotional and psychological sense of belonging of people toward the existing political system.It is also the important guarantee to maintain social stability and standardize political action.As the pioneers and elite of college students,college student cadre has a strong influence and powerful appeal among college students.The political quality of the student cadre is not only concerned with personal development but also influence the cultivation of political identification of the whole college students and the social stability.Considering the uniqueness and significance of college student cadre and the advances on the study about the current situation of political identification of student cadre,focusing on and guiding the status of political identification among student cadre will preferably promote the education of college students’ political identification on the diverse cultural background.This empirical research was conducted among five kinds of colleges and universities from cities in Zhejiang Province.The total number of valid return was 644.To be more specific,the questionnaire divided the political identification into three parts,value,standard and political performance to get a deep insight into the political identification of college student cadre.The findings show that college student cadre in Zhejiang Province has positive political identification as a whole although there are some defects.There are three regards.Firstly,the college student cadre highly identifies the governing thinking,supports the leadership by the government party and has strong patriotic emotion.They fundamentally agree the socialism core value,but the cognition is dimly.Secondly,the college student cadre supports the China’s current socialist system and the reform and opening-up policy.The implementation and execution of the state’s related guidelines,policies,laws and rules are highly valued by the student cadre.Being influenced by the western political thoughts,part of them are unconfident to the political system and lack of rational thinking to the policy identity.Thirdly,the college student cadre is satisfied with the results of the public policy and is confident in future outlook.Nevertheless,they have negative attitudes toward the personnel of the political department and government’s efficiency.On the basis of literature research and interview,this paper explored the affecting factors by analyzing the questionnaire survey results.There is a significant difference among students considering the following factors:nature of the university,political status,social position of family and grade.By correlation analysis,the research also shows that the three dimensionalities of political identification of the college student cadre are affected by the attitude of ideological and political course,civic participation and Internet media.The political value identity of key university is less optimistic.The senior students’political standard identity is stronger.The performance identity of higher vocational college student cadre shows well.It decreases with the increasing of grade.The social position of family has negative effects on political identification.The students who think higher of ideological and political lesson earn higher political identification.Civic participation has complex effects on it as well as media viewing.On the basis of data analysis,this paper puts forward four approaches in promoting the political identification of college student cadre.Primarily,shape a powerful political system by social economy construction,institutional construction and self-construction of the party and the government.Next,innovate the work of college students’ mental and political education by improving the content structure of ideological and political education,changing the traditional teaching methods of ideological and political education and expanding the staff of the ideological and political education.Thirdly,integrate social forces including constructing a healthy campus cultural atmosphere,optimizing home education environment and standardize the media industry.Finally,increase more political practice of the college student cadre by carrying out party’s activity,improving the structure system of the second class and increasing base political and ideological work. |
