Campus bullying refers to such an aggressive behavior that some students suffer or implement destructive impacts on their bodies, minds, properties, studies, interpersonal associations, etc, with the help of body or external forces, words, interpersonal relationships or networks while studying at school. It becomes not only one of the main problems of the education system, but also the focus of public concern, so it is of great significance to do researches on campus bullying. In bullying events, junior high school students are always the protagonists. This study intends to reveal the bullying phenomenon, interpret the causes of bullying and explore the intervention measures by means of questionnaire and interview surveys.According to the results of the questionnaire survey of 764 students and interviews with four teachers in L county, Hunan province,we can find that for middle school students, speaking ill of and giving nickname to each other are with the highest frequency and followed by the strength-bullying and the relational-bullying, and the least frequent ones are the network-bulling and the sex-bullying. Students look on the bullying events more frequently than they suffer or implement such events. Recently, nearly 27% of students are suffering bullying events given by individuals or groups. The introverted and irascible students are easily bullied, and the introverted ones are also ignored by their teachers. The students who most like to bully others are those who are irritable, doting or left-behind, and the students with good family conditions or bad grades also like to bully others.Bullying is affected by multiple factors, such as the physical and mental development characteristics of students, schools environment, teachers, parents, peers, games and the information dissemination. The fourth part puts forward intervention measures in terms of schools, teachers, families, peers and laws according to current situation of bullying. Schools should strengthen their functions of education and management; teachers should improve their overall qualities, attach great importance to the headteachers' works and grasp the education punishment power reasonably; families should combine the guardianship with education;the solidified peer groups should be prevented and multivariate peer groups are encouraged to be established to promote healthy interpersonal developments for middle school students. Bullying governance should be taken measures from the legal level like defining the concepts and the main responsibilities of bullying, strengthening the punishment of collaborative bullies and controlling the spread of malicious information.
