The resources of Chinese textbook in primary is very abundant, and the children literary works as an important composition among those. Fairy tale, as one of children's literature works, is full of exaggeration? fantasy, and interesting. Therefore, it meet the aesthetic needs of children. The author finds that the fairy tale in the proportion of teaching material is on the rise by analyzing the data of fairy tales contents ? the quantity and the proportion, which is selected into PEP 2001 version. This means that educators increasingly pay attention on this kind of style fairy tale, and recognize the value of fairy tales for children's development. However,the author also finds that the textbook writers deviate from the perspective of child-orientation in the process of text selection.The first part of the article, the author expounds the reason why we research? the significance of study? the idea of study and the methods of study. In addition, the author also introduces the literature review and defines the conception of Child-Orientation. The second part, the author analyzes the situation of fairy tale which is selected into primary Chinese textbook of PEP 2001 version, and on the basis of the perspective of child-orientation, the author summarizes the main problem in the selection of fairy tale of primary Chinese textbook in PEP 2001 version. That is, the narrow range of the fairy tale? the short and thin of the content and the single type of the fairy tale. The third part, the author analyzes the reason of deficiency of the perspective of child-orientation in primary Chinese textbook of PEP 2001 version. That is, the adult views on children was associated deviation? the influence of the exam-oriented education, the subject of restrictions; The fourth part, the author puts forward to the concept and principle of the selection on the basis of above problem from the perspective of children-orientation, aimed to improve the quality of the selected article fairy tale.Based on the above research, the author thinks that we should be advocated to children as a starting point and adhere to the principle of fairy tale of the life-giving selected article. We should advocate the compilation principle and enlarge the coverage of selection of fairy tale to enrich the content of fairy tales selected article, balanced selection of fairy tale type, appropriate uses the classical original works.
