Self-regulated learning is one of the most effective ways of lifelong learning in rural kindergartens.There is a lack of funding to study.Learning opportunities are very limited and learning time is not enough.Independent learning can break many limitations of learning to shift the stale education ideals and teaching methods of teachers in rural kindergartens.It can optimise teacher's troops,so as to effectively promote basic education quality in the country.Therefore,it is important to do research on the independent learning of teachers in rural kindergartens.Then what is the level of independent learning of teachers in China's rural kindergartens?Regarding the level of independent learning of teachers in the rural kindergartens,are there significant differences in the different backgrounds?What are the factors are included in influencing the independent learning of teachers in rural kindergartens?This research focuses on the level of independent learning of teachers in the rural kindergartens.It randomly chose 26 rural kindergartens in the Q District of Bijie City,Guizhou Province.It is based on analysis from questionnaires and interviews by using the descriptive statistical analysis,independent T-test and ANOVA analysis.Through the coding analysis for the grounded theory and interview data,it was approved that the level of independent learning of teachers in the rural kindergartens in the Q District of Bijie City,Guizhou Province are above average.The level of independent learning of teachers in rural kindergartens varies greatly in different ages,different kinds of kindergartens,and the teachers with different seniority positions,different employment methods,different professional titles and different educational backgrounds.The concrete performance is in the following aspects:independent learning of teachers aged 26 to 30 is at the highest level and it is higher than teachers aged 21 to 25 and of teachers aged over 50.The level of independent learning of teachers in the public rural kindergartens is higher than teachers in the privately-run rural kindergartens.The level of independent learning of the 4-9 years teaching veteran is significantly higher than the less than 4 years teaching veteran.The temporary teachers have the lowest level of independent learning.Meanwhile the level of independent learning of teachers within the establishment is significantly higher than the teachers who work by contract and temporary teachers.Teachers in second rank of primary school teaching are significantly higher than the teachers with no title and teachers in third rank of primary school teaching.Independent learning of teachers with a bachelor's degree is at the highest level,it is higher than teachers with educational level of junior college,secondary school,high school and professional high school.Meanwhile,independent learning of teachers with an educational level of junior college and secondary school is higher than teachers in high school or professional high school.Besides that,there are no significant differences among positions,majors and marital status of the level of independent learning of teachers in the rural kindergartens.The influencing factors on independent learning of teachers in the rural kindergartens mainly included:self-development(professional ethics,specialty literacy,self-efficacy,individual demand,learning interest,achievement and ambition);support of kindergartens(campus conditions,orientation of running the school,teacher leaders,connections,relationships in kindergartens,culture of kindergartens,system of appraisal);government leadership(government leaders,sustainable conditions,political direction,the relationship between education and management).Through the study and analysis of the cases,this paper puts forward several suggestions to improve the level of independent learning of teachers in the public rural kindergartens.A teacher should improve career aspirations and faith,enrich learning style and foster the will character.A manager of kindergartens should provide resources of independent learning to teachers for further study perfect the evaluation system for teachers' job achievements and create a good environment to learn from each other and improve together.A superior department should reduce the teachers burden,build in time during the day for teachers to independent learning,improve teachers training schemes,improve the quality of training and provide training opportunities.
