Both the development of society and that of science and technology propose newer and higher demands for a person's abilities, especially the ability of the self-regulated learning. That how to cultivate students' self-regulated abilities has become the main content of the reformation of education. Being the footstone of the great building of education, the teacher-student relation plays a very important role in the process of both the knowledge and morality teaching. The goal of this research is to discuss changing the traditional teacher-student relation, to set up the good teacher-student relation of respect, understanding, trust democracy, equality and cooperation, to cultivate the junior middle school students' ability of self-regulated learning.The framework of this research is as this: firstly analyze and sum up the theories of self-regulated learning and those of teacher-student relation, find out the exact goals of cultivating the ability of self-regulated learning and the updated characteristics of the teacher-student relation. Secondly make questionnaires to measure the ability of self-regulated learning and the teacher-student relation, and then verify if the improvement of teacher-student relation has positively influenced the junior Grade Two students" self-regulated learning and its results At last wholly give the explanations of the effects of the experiment and the problems met in the process of the experiment, point out the directions for further studying.The result of the experiment shows: the improvement of the teacher-student relation is advantageous to the cultivation of the ability of the self-regulated learning, favorable to the self awareness of the self-regulated learning, helpful to the motivation of the self-regulated learning, beneficial to better grades of the self-study. The teacher plays the leading role in improving the teacher-student relation, the attitude of students to teacher lies on that of teacher to students Teachers educational conceptions, knowledge level, quality level, personality and etc, are the important factors to affect the teacher-student relation.It is found that the good teacher-student relation of respect, understanding, trust, democracy and cooperation is advantageous to the cultivation of the ability of the self-regulated learning. On account of the relatively low quality of the teachers in the schools of the countryside, it is a long and arduous task to improve the teacher-student relation.
