Study On The Problem Of Group Work Involvement In College Freshmen's Professional Identity

In recent decades,with the expansion of university enrollment,more and more students take the opportunities to get into the institutions for higher learning.Nowadays,people move their attention from if kids can be enrolled by universities,to the level of the universities and what kind of majors are they gonna study in universities.Some freshmen from colleges and universities are limited by their parents' and others' will,or be limited by the college entrance examination scores,leading to the result that they're pretty dissatisfied with their current majors;Moreover,be influenced by the existing professional training system of our country,they cannot change their majors freely in universities.Therefore,many freshmen are dissatisfied;even hold no agreement with their current majors.However,freshmen's identification is directly related to their enthusiasm for professional learning at the university stage,thus affecting the realization of the professional value and life value.Therefore,this research aims to improve freshmen's professional identity,clarify the status of professional identity,analyze the inner causes,and try to intervene and improve this problem from the social working perspective.In this study,by 31 freshmen's questionnaires from Nanjing N University,we've got a brief understanding of freshmen's professional identity,and analyzed the major reasons of this situation.According to the survey,19.0%respondents' professional identity are in low level,only 6.0%freshmen's professional identity are in high level,the development of cognition and the appropriateness are in imbalance,the cogn.itive level of the freshmen is higher than relevance.The analysis shows that the major reasons of the professional dissatisfactions are college students do not understand the professional,don't have professional emotion towards their professionals.Therefore,according to the investigation and the unique needs of the client,with the usage of small group working,we provide a professional social working service for those freshmen who are in low professional identity.In the process of social work intervention,the author selected 6 freshmen with common characters to be a small team,through the earlier investigation of 31 College Freshmen's professional identity.The author decides to take development group mode,with the themes of "into the professional,enhance the professional identity,welcome the future" group activities,design "Hello,my friend","how many do you know" professional knowledge"," professional",the debate on the topic,the same is emotion","sociology and life","show love in action,"the future" of the seven group activities to complete the team goals.Through the assessment of the results,it shows that the effect of group activities,the use of professional methods of group work,making university students professional identity is obviously improved,specifically in the understanding of professional,professional interest,actively involved in professional practice and professional and self fusion etc.Finally,this study reflects from group work,group work intervention mode and the role of social workers,if the short-term group work intervention can really make different on cognition,emotion,behavior and appropriate,these four dimensions changes.Improving professional identity remains to be explored continually.And the author suggests that through the integration of resources and social work in both universities and families,we should provide more professional service for freshmen's professional identity.
