With the great development of national high education, the number of college counselors is becoming more and more. As mental instructors and daily life directors for students, they bear the responsibility of cultivating and educating qualified future socialist constructors. However, because of the job characteristics, professional requirements, and many other real contradictions, they are confronted a lot of difficulties, such as marriage, promotion, and so on. Their job satisfaction and staff stability are being challenged.Nowadays, more and more researchers begin to focus on college counselors, and the related research is also attracting much attention. The research of job satisfaction is of great real significance for enhancing spiritual education of college students. Furthermore, it also can be beneficial for promoting their working enthusiasm, working quality, and protecting their mental health.Based on the findings of former researches, interview and questionnaire were conducted in this paper, sampling with formal college counselors from 18 colleges in various places in Zhejiang. With the reliability and effect of researching instrument taken into consideration, through analysis of variance, it discussed the differences in the areas of job characteristics, pressure, job identification, and job satisfaction, and with variance analysis, it also discussed the relevance among these dimensions. Moreover, through multiple regression analysis, it discussed the mediated effect of job identification. The research results were as follows:1. Job autonomy, job pressure, and job identification were three varieties influencing job satisfaction obviously.2. Job autonomy has a further influence on job satisfaction through job identification, which is the mediated factor between job autonomy and job satisfaction.3. Job pressure has a further influence on job satisfaction through job identification, which is the mediated factor between job pressure and job satisfaction.
