This paper mainly studies interactive reading and writing teaching based on the actual teaching exploration in Chinese in middle school.The whole paper is divided into five parts.In the first part,the paper introduces the definition of interactive teaching method and the differences between this method and other teaching methods,namely,the interaction between teachers and students,and the interaction between reading and writing.In the whole teaching process the two kinds of communication and interaction must be carried out completely in order to achieve the teaching purpose.In the second part,it shows the basic characteristics of interactive reading and writing teaching,namely uniqueness,which shows that reading and writing are relatively independent branches;interactivity,which shows that reading and writing are highly unified as a whole;connectivity,which shows that reading should be connected to writing;and continuity,which makes clear that it is the further extension of the method to imitate and regard the compositions.In the third part,it introduces the basic methods of the interactive reading and writing teaching.In reading teaching,there are several points:to analyze the general key points and difficulties in the reading books,to anatomy skills in teaching material samples that can be used in students' writing,and to analyze students compositions which use the same writing skills.In writing teaching,there are also several points that should be emphasized:to show specific writing requirements,to provide reading materials that can be studied,to guide the students with suitable methods,to modify the compositions after writing.In the combination of reading and writing,we should pay attention to the following points:to choose the appropriate reading texts and writing topics,to do writing exercises in time after reading,to evaluate compositions in time,to collect students compositions which are available for reading teaching.In the fourth part,it studies the basic principles of this method.On one hand,the unity,integrity and mutual promotion of reading and writing are very important,which include reading in order to drive writing,and writing to promote reading.On the other hand,the cooperation and mutual promotion between the teachers and the students aren't allowed to ignore,which request teaching in order to promote learning,and learning to improve teaching.In the fifth part,it puts forward several points that we should concern during teaching.In reading teaching,there are several mistakes that we usually make:to choose reading material improper,to guide reading without the key points,to train writing but not in proper ways after reading.In writing teaching,there also are several errors that we usually make:to abuse or misuse the skills that learned in reading classes,to ignore the evaluation and guidance for the copy writing exercises,to be lack of evaluation and analysis for students compositions timely and effectively.In the combination of reading and writing,there are also several points we should notice:to give the right method guidance,to provide the proper reading materials when students start writing,to analyze the students compositions as reading materials.And some teachers often neglect the differences and uniqueness in students writing.Finally,it attaches to an application example of interactive reading and writing teaching in Chinese narrative writing in middle school,in order to provide reference for future teaching.
