Reading and writing are the two major components of Chinese teaching in primary school.The combination of reading and writing is aimed at highlighting the inner connection between reading and writing,teaching Chinese language scientifically,and improving the teaching efficiency of Chinese learning.However,there are some problems in the practice of combining reading and writing,and there are even some misunderstandings during teaching.Teachers have certain enthusiasm for the combination of reading and writing,but the students cannot effectively grasp the scientific method of combining reading and writing.This thesis takes an ordinary but representative primary school in a town of Yangzhou as the investigation object,investigates the present situation of reading and writing teaching in Chinese class in primary school,and summarizes the observed problems.At the same time,this thesis also uses the interview prepared for teachers to know how the teachers understand the combination of reading and writing,and lists those difficult problems encountered during teaching the combination of reading and writing.Finally,according to the survey results,the corresponding solution strategy is put forward.The main issues of this thesis are as follows:Through the survey,we found that Chinese teachers of primary school generally have recognized the scientific nature of the teaching method-combination of reading and writing,and that the combination of reading and writing should be implemented from the middle and low grades.However,in fact,carrying out the combination of reading and writing in low-grade teaching is much less,and teachers also feel the combination of reading and writing in low-grade teaching is more difficult.In addition,under the background of the examination-oriented education,the intensity and breadth of training which combines reading and writing are not enough,and the practice of combining reading and writing in Chinese class is lack of diversity.Compared with the reading class,the use of combining reading and writing in writing teaching is much less,especially the teaching philosophy of "use writing teaching to enhance reading teaching" has not been effectively implemented.The survey also found that the students didn't have a good understanding of the combination of reading and writing,and can't consciously use the study method "combining teaching and writing" to improve the eficiency of learning.In view of the above problems,we propose teaching strategies as follows:First of all,teachers should strengthen their own theoretical literacy,enrich the teaching methods of combining reading and writing,and actively promote students to get combination-oriented read and write trainings;teachers should also clarify the teaching objectives of the various sections of primary school,care about the individual development of students,and flexibly use the textbooks from multiple angles.Secondly,students should cooperate with teachers to strengthen combination-oriented read and write trainings,try to enhance the thinking ability and language literacy in combining reading and writing.
