Reading and writing is the core of Chinese literacy,and the priority of high school Chinese teaching as well.The combination of reading and writing is conductive to the improvement of students' reading and writing skills and the better promotion of students' lifelong development.Through the survey of questionnaire the author finds that the situation of high school students' reading and writing is not satisfactory.Its reasons lie in teachers' ignoring the strategy of combining reading and writing in the teaching process,students' lacking the awareness and the habit of reading and writing in the process of learning and the lack of systematic teaching materials for reading and writing.According to the requirements of reading and writing in the Chinese curriculum standard of ordinary senior high school,having consulted a large number of materials,combined with the usual teaching practice,the author put forward the strategies of promoting reading by writing and combining reading and writing,which aims at the problems existing in students' current reading and writing.This paper explains the principles of reading and writing,that is,giving full play to the main role of students,emphasizing the systematic knowledge and paying attention to the practical writing.In terms of concrete implementation,it is necessary to enhance students' awareness of combining reading and writing and highlight their dominant position.It is necessary to cultivate the breadth of students' thinking through extensive reading,cultivate the depth of students' thinking through careful and intensive reading,and cultivate students' thinking sensitivity through building the platform of composition generation.Thus the sequence of reading forms the sequence of writing through building the platform of composition generation and the systematic knowledge is acquired from reading,making it the driving force of writing.It is also necessary to use the text structure for reference,standardize writing ideas;enrich writing materials,striving to use them when needed;absorb writing skills,broaden the vision of writing;feel the language style,improve the expression ability and pay attention to the practice of composition teaching.With one lesson as the goal,to read,understand,write,review and change a variety of activities,the author tries to improve students' ability in writing practice.In a word,students and teachers should focus on establishing the sequence of reading and writing,and make progress step by step and in a spiral way in teaching practice.How to guide students to read efficiently,learn the composition layout,write a good beginning of argumentation,create argumentation highlights,continue writing,complement writing and solve other specific teaching problems is explained in detail in this essay,which has certain guidance and is systematic,practical and creative.
