Research On The Improvement In The Employment Quality Of Heyuan Vocational Graduates

The main respondents of the research are from the vocational schools in Heyuan.There are about 600 students, who graduated from the four vocational schools in the central parts of Heyuan during 2014-2016, took part in this research. After the questionnaire survey, there came up the data, which are the employment rate, the stability of employment,the matching of majors etc. Then through the ways of literature studying,survey researching and interviewing, findings of the problems came up and analyzing of the reasons for the employment problems had been found afterward, which aims to improve the educational and employing management of the vocational schools and also to help figuring out some relevant policies for the solution to the problems of employment quality of Heyuan vocational graduates.There are six chapters in this thesis. Chapter One is the analyzing and summarizing of the researches on the employment quality from the domestic and foreign countries.Chapter Two is the definition of the key conception and theories throughout this thesis.Chapter Three is the analyzing of the data from the questionnaire and the analyzing of the reasons lies in Chapter Four. Certain suggestions for the solutions are offered in Chapter Five, and conclusion of the whole thesis could be found in Chapter Six.Reviewing the previous research on this topic, most of them focused on the investigation of the employment situation rather than the employment quality of the graduates from vocational schools in China. Actually, comparing with the employment rate,the employment quality reflects deeper and more information from the graduates. And being distinct from the former research regarding the first employment of the graduates as the key estimate, there are more ways of estimating including the matching of majors, the stability of employment, the improvement of employment etc. In a word, this research is about the employment quality rather than employment rate. On the other hand, it can also help to improve the educational management in the vocational schools in Heyuan.
