Combining the ecological theories with the study of teaching practices,the ecological classroom theory has provided a totally different research perspective to probe into various kinds of phenomena and problems of science classes in the primary school and grasp the laws of education.Drawing on the theories of ecology,the ecological science classroom in the primary school is the dynamic system,consisting of such elements as teachers,students and classroom environment,which are kept balance through the communication of materials,energy and information.Any problems of in the above-mentioned ecological factors will certainly endanger the stability of whole ecological class system.This thesis will employ the ecological theories and methods to make an in-depth investigation into the non-ecological phenomena in the science class of primary school and put forward some feasible strategies to construct the ecological science classroom,with the purpose of promoting the new curriculum reform of science classes and elevating the scientific literacy of Chinese as a whole.The whole thesis falls into the following five parts:The first part is the introduction,mainly introducing the background of this thesis,literature review,purposes and meanings,the research methods and innovative points.The second chapter will give a detailed account of the concepts,characteristics and functions of ecological classroom in the primary school,laying the solid theoretical basis for this thesis.The third chapter aims to make a field investigation into the practical teaching condition of four primary schools through the literature review methods,field survey method and interdisciplinary research method and then analyzes the data objectively,teasing out the ecological and non-ecological phenomena in the science classroom of primary schools and putting the emphasis on figuring out the root causes for the non-ecological phenomena.Based on what have been found,the fourth chapter will make full use of practical teaching cases,predominately from the following four perspectives:class preparation period,teaching procedures,evaluation and reflection,to come up with the effective strategies to construct the ecological classes of primary school in order to enhance the feasibility and practicality of this study.Based on the above analysis,the last part summarizes the main points in this thesis and clarifies the realistic significance.
