With the wide application of information technology and Internet technology in the field of education,it greatly promotes the development of education.The development strategy of "accelerating the process of educational informatization" indicates that China's educational informatization has entered a fast track.The basic education informatization is the priority among priorities of education informatization,it attracts more and more attention.However,China's basic education informatization still exist many problems,such as between urban and rural areas still exist a large gap;information teaching methods still in the traditional stage etc...To understand the problems and solutions in the development of basic education information,it is necessary to evaluate its development situation,to understand its current situation and development trend,in order to promote the better development of education.However,the evaluation of educational informatization is a huge systematic project,which involves the evaluation model,the evaluation index system,the index weight,and the selection of evaluation methods.Therefore this research is based on the current situation and the construction of regional basic education informatization of our country,first analyzes the importance of evaluation of basic education information,then the related research at home and abroad were reviewed by mainly using the method of literature research and survey method,compared the international famous set of evaluation index system,and then gives a simple introduction of several weighting methods,and compares the advantages and disadvantages of various evaluation methods,it chooses the weighting method and evaluation method for the study.Secondly,research on the evaluation indexes and mode of development of regional basic education informatization,constructs a set index system to assess the use of basic education informatization level as the main purpose,and developed an evaluation web system,which can evaluate the level of basic education informatization development on the basis of this index system.The system can be assessed according to the education informatization level survey data of an area or a school,report and development suggestions of evaluation,so as to help and guide better areas or school informatization work.Finally,according to the evaluation index system,it designs the questionnaire,and carries out an online questionnaire survey in each pilot school in Xiangyang.Based on the survey data,the development level of basic education informatization in Xiangyang was evaluated.At the same time,this system has been highly appraised by Xiangyang educational equipment and Information Center,and has been fully affirmed the accuracy of the evaluation results.The innovation of this study is to assess the level of informatization development can be more scientific and reasonable in an area,to establish a relatively objective index system and index system applied to the evaluation process of the system,combined with the grey fuzzy evaluation method to evaluate the development level of education informatization,so as to ensure the scientific evaluation process that makes the assessment results more real and can work for regional education informatization development and improvement.
