Higher vocational education is a very important branch of vocational education in China.It has cultivated a great number of excellent students for the rapid development of national economy.It plays a very important role in the popularization of higher education in our country.However,with the development of economy,the structure of social industry has changed with each passing day,people's living standard is getting better and better.The employment-oriented vocational education of our country can not meet the needs of social status and lifelong learning society of the building.This study is based on the understanding of "employment-oriented" connotation,based on the relevant theory;based on the "employment-oriented" characteristics of vocational education and higher vocational education status;according to the survey data to analyze vocational students now counterparts According to the domestic and foreign experience,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures: Firstly,we should develop vocational education at the level of undergraduates and postgraduates.At the same time,we should carry out the following countermeasures: And reform "undergraduate" enrollment system for higher vocational colleges students to get through the road.Secondly,the vocational colleges should respect the students' self-development,attach importance to the students' education,and build the higher general education and vocational education overpass,so as to provide a stronger guarantee for students' further studies.By the state and the school and the students themselves to work together to jointly promote the smooth development of higher vocational education.
