In the past 20-odd years,Chinese higher vocational education,one important component in Chinese higher education system,has achieved historic development and breakthrough,from the outskirt of higher education policy to its nuclear.It is now bearing equal importance to the norm higher education in China.The urgent need from society as well as its unique function has given higher vocational education an indispensable essential role and put it to a strategic position in the great cause of the construction of Chinese socialist modernization.Hence,to develop the higher vocational education is no longer an expedient slogan,but an imperative action that should be taken.
