It has been many years since Lianshui county,Huaian city of Jiangsu province perform junior high school entrance examination of physical education,which we will call it "PE entrance exam" for abbreviation.As a whole,to a large extent,carrying out PE entrance exam system can be benefit for promoting quality-oriented education and physical education,reforming school PE teaching system,enhancing the statue of PE work and raising the working enthusiasm of PE teachers.However,as time goes by,with the pressure of PE points counted in the total junior high school entrance examination points,a large number of schools tend to set teaching policies aiming at make students get high marks in PE entrance exam,which makes a large portion of students lose interest in PE lessons.How to enhance students' physical qualities and sports interest through curriculum arrangement and the teaching-goals design has become the emergent task.As the physical education situation is almost the same in Lianshui area,the main investigated objects in this essay are the PE teachers and students in the third year of Hongyao Experimental School.The essay uses the literature method,questionnaire survey,data and statistics,expert interview and so on,researching the opinions of front-line PE teachers and students' points of view after performing PE entrance exam.From teachers' part,the essay mainly investigate PE teachers' degree of satisfaction about PE entrance exam system,the teaching-goals setting,the portion of points in the total entrance exam points,the arrangement of teaching contents and the evaluation way's to students' sport performance.On the students' part,the essay concentrates on the students' degree of agreement to PE entrance exam system,the degree of satisfaction to P.E.curriculum contents,the conduct situation of extra-curriculum activities and the awareness of life-long physical exercises.Through investigation,the essay comes to the following results.1.Since PE entrance examination system was carried out,teachers' teaching methods and ways have been extraordinary variety,besides,to some extant teaching goals may also be varied.Physical health,physical quality and sport skill will gradually take a larger proportion in teaching procedure.2.By comparison of middle school entrance examination before and after,teachers' valuation,mostly focusing on sport scores and sport abilities,is still the3.main PE score value standard in teaching procedure.The self-value and inter-value in students haven't been widely applied.4.The PE entrance examination subjects become the main content of teaching and exercises.The phenomenon of exercising just for examination is almost a universal.5.After the reform of middle school entrance examination,students subjectively start to build a clear idea to the spirit of PE examination,which enable them to take a correct study attitude to PE class.
