How to excavate and use community internal and external resources, to meet the growing demand for services among community residents is an important task which is what the community social workers have to face. Taking W community social organizations construction project as an example, this paper studies how social workers integrates community internal and external resources to improve service intensity of social work.Using participant observation methods and the theory of regional development models,this paper explores the link and integration of community resources. Firstly, this paper analyzes and sorts the existing resources of W community. Secondly, this paper analyses the specific process of community social worker linking and integrating resources,applying regional development model. Thirdly, from the two aspects of resource linkage and integration results and whether it meets the needs of the community residents, the effectiveness of social workers integrating the resources inside and outside of the community is evaluated. Finally, this paper summarizes the experience gained in linking and integrating community internal and external resources, and discusses some of the existing problems. Through the research, this paper draws the following conclusions.Firstly, carding community resources is the first step of linking and integrating resources.Secondly, the establishment of "social workers + volunteers + community workers +community residents" linkage model promotes community building. Thirdly, community micro projects should be taken seriously, and social workers should rely on community micro projects to cultivate community self-organization and improve the level of community autonomy. Finally, the integration of community cultural resources is more important than the integration of material resources.
