| The Flipped Classroom is a new teaching method,which teaching content in the traditional class is delivered to students through videos as homework,while the homework in traditional class is finished in the classroom with the help of teachers and classmates.As our country strongly advocates the integration of information technology and teaching,more and more schools,including elementary and secondary schools all around the country,starts to apply the Flipped Classroom into teaching practice.Thus,the writer takes the perspective of the classroom management of the Flipped Classroom,tries to find out problems when teachers manage the flipped classroom,the reasons behind those problems and then puts forward suggestions in order to improve teachers’ management practice.This thesis is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction of the paper,discussing the research origins,aims and significance,steps and methods,and the explanation of basic concepts and the research status of the Flipped Classroom both at home and abroad.The writer defines the classroom of flipped classroom from its implementation,which includes not only the traditional class that students and teachers are working together face-to-face,but also the pre-class preparation that students learn by themselves.So the management of the flipped classroom is to manage these two parts.The second part mainly discusses the rationale for the Flipped Classroom management,including The Mastery Theory,The Learning Theory of Constructivism,The Cooperative Learning Theory and The Interpersonal Behavioral Science.The third part takes domestic and foreign schools’ flipping management as cases and analyses their managing practice.The next part mainly discusses the problems and reasons of flipped classroom management in our elementary and secondary schools.With the information collected through interviews and classroom observations,the writer classifies the current problems into: the management problems of students’ autonomic learning outside the classroom,students’ cooperative learning inside the classroom,the classroom time management and meeting students’ personalized needs.Then,the reasons behind the problems are discussed from four aspects,that is schools,teachers,students and the parents.The last part focuses on the suggestions that teachers and other stakeholders could take in order to improve the Flipped Classroom management practice. |
