As is mentioned in New English Curriculum, the current English curriculum reform focuses on the change of teaching and learning. It aims to stop:over-emphasizing the transmission and explanation of knowledge about grammar and vocabulary; neglecting to develop students' ability to use language for real. In their place, the reforms aim to establish a curriculum that:develops students' comprehensive language competence, motivates students, is relevant to their life experiences and cognitive level, promotes task-based teaching methods, involves students in experiential, practical, participatory and cooperative learning, develops students' positive attitudes, thinking skills, practical abilities, cultural awareness and autonomy through the language learning process. To explore new teaching mode is imminent.During the work of teaching and research, I have tried to explore a classroom teaching model in autonomic and cooperative learning, so as to promote students'learning and self-development. This paper describes a teaching model conceived in autonomous and cooperation, which is "four-phase teaching approach". The model includes questioning at the beginning of a class, cooperating during a class, doing exercises after summary, looking black at the questions at the end of a class. It's proven to be an effective method to guide English teaching in junior high school.
