Content: Autonomic learning is not only helpful for students to improve their study but also a basis of personal lifelong learning and development. Therefore, developing students' ability, teaching students how to learn and especially learn independently are regarded as important educational objectives in both elementary and secondary vocational education, which may make good preparation for students' continuing and lifelong learning. However, at present teachers are still focusing on teaching notes in Chinese classes and students are usually learning passively in secondary vocational school. This goes against Chinese curriculum objectives and educational objective of the secondary vocational education. So, autonomic learning ability should be attached much more attention by Chinese teachers in secondary vocational school.The research paper is composed of five chapters. Chapter 1-Introduction In this chapter, the importance and necessity of developing students' autonomic learning ability in Chinese classroom teaching of secondary vocational school are elaborated from a point view of curriculum objective and practical significance. The definition of "autonomic learning", theoretical basis and research methodology are also introduced in Chapter one. In Chapter two ,by analyzing the results of the questionnaire , the writer points out that teachers can arouse students' intrinsic motivation, teaching them effective study strategy, strengthening self-control ability and developing students' habits of seeking others' help to develop and improve students' autonomic learning ability.
