In recent years,information technology education has been vigorously popularized.In the field of education,it is faced with the deep reform of technologies and contents.The methods of composition teaching in Chinese teaching also change greatly in the background of information education.In order to solve the students' problems such as lacks of writing materials or ideas,and the inflexibility of their words or argumentation,I take students from senior high school as the research objects and combine the resources of the network with the composition teaching,trying to improve the students' poor status of composition,such as lacks of writing materials or ideas.During the whole research process,I follow in order and advance step by step.At first,I investigate students and teachers respectively by questionnaires,which aims at understanding the confusions of students and the status of teachers in composition learning and teaching.Then I analyzes the problem that whether the students and teachers have the resources and equipments to use the network in composition learning and teaching.Have being sure that the network resources and equipments are ready,I start to begin the research under the guidance of Action Research,according to the plan that has been made.At the same time,I intersperse the research course with observations and interviews.I try to understand the harvests and experiences of the students and their teachers by intermittent interviews after they make use of the network resources to proceed a composition learning and teaching.At the end of the semester,I analyzes the students'writing,and sum up the pros and cons of the research,trying to think about how to improve the methods of composition learning and teaching.This research is based on the network and take it as the auxiliary resources and means.I try to improve the composition teaching by changing teaching methods.The body of the paper is to explore how to use the network resources to improve the quality of composition in such aspects as follows:1.Making use of search engines to look for current events which accord with given themes to promote the accumulations of fresh materials.2.Making comments on current events to pave the way for deeper argumentation.3.Making use of network resources such as videos and films to broaden the perspectives of students and help them accumulate materials for all kinds of composition.4.Making use of the network resources to generate series of original subjects for different phase in the composition training.5.Making use of the network platform to promote the diversity of composition assessment.The research took a whole semester.The students' poor status of writing has greatly changed.They no longer complain that they have nothing to write.Besides,they learn to use their own words to argument on the basis of citing facts.More important,they begin to pay more attentions to social focus and their level and attainment on Chinese subject are both improved.ALL the above provide me with precious experiences for my next stage of composition teaching.
